Started on my squares for the quilts thanks to Ruth-Honey for sending me materials. I am hoping to stitch 30, but due to my eeijet of a hubby don't know if I will have the funds to spare for aida....lol

I am slowly calming down and he had a chat today about what is next. He has already put his bike onto a few selling sites so hopefully that sells soon, and we are going to take a room at a time and ebay everything possible (wonder how much he would go for...lol)

The little stockings are amazing, but I am similar to Louise and have no sewing skills at all....although maybe a lot of them on one piece made into a cushion might be nice....xx

It's only a temporary frame - I think he needs a dark wood frame, so I'll pick one up when I see the right style.

The design is a free one from Teresa Wentzler. It's been on my "To-Do" list for many years, about time I got round to completing it. I made some amendments to the pattern - I didn't have the right metallics so left the borders plain and omitted it from the lightest yellow on the dragon. I still think he looks rather good.

Now....back to Escher and monochrome...:rotfl:

Mags-cat - the dragon looks brilliant, I can't see why you want to change the frame though? I think it looks great in that one, it picks up the colours from the body of the dragon really nicely :T:T

Sorry can't remember who was doing the "dogs in the snow" photo conversion, but i eagerly await updates on it, would love to turn some photos into cross stitch, particularly ones of doggies no longer with us

one with 5 pigs on called the trotters - thinking of doing it for my mum who loves pigs and putting mum under the first pigs and mine and my 3 siblings names under the others that are running towards her.

a tinkerbell sketch - DD3 whos 21 this summer
a felt yellow brick road christmas stocking with appliqued figures and loads of embellishments on - my really special best friend
2 cushion fronts that are tapestry rather than cross stitch - my mum and mil
that should keep me busy for a while
