    Hi ladies.

Louise. Your 'I never finish' made me smile. Love your version of 'Family Rules', very nice.

Sillyinthepast. Welcome! Thanks for mentioning Pinterest. I'm not a member but I searched for free charts and found 3 that I just had to download and add to my digital stash :T

Poohspals. Don't you just hate it when that happens?!? I hope you find the mistake and don't have to unpick too much.

FOS. Glad I'm not the only one who looks forward to sorting stash as much as they do actually sorting it :D Love the 'I am a stitcher', can't wait to see Louises' version in a few days :rotfl:

Bobbi. The stockings are beautiful! What a lovely gift.

    Rainyday. Welcome.

    Maria. Nice finishes.

Caroline. Hope hubby finds something else soon.

JCS. Pics please of the lamb! :D

Chicky. Love the witty saying, especially the Lego. If hubby annoys me I usually tell him I hope he steps on a plug :rotfl:

Brednall. Nice progress pic. Personally I think the wording looks fine.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

Back to a bit of normality. Doing a Community Fair tomorrow and I hope it is more profitable than the last craft fair.

Here is the stitching for my DD I mentioned so I would appreciate your opinions on whether the name stitching looks too spaced out please.

One gap between letters is usually what I go with. If pushed for space I would have moved the J closer, but I think it looks just fine.

    Good luck with your fair!!:T

Maria - Stocking looks great!! I would like to do them but it's the making up into the stocking that would put me off, I don't have your sewing machine skills :o

I ordered other charts from 1-2-3 stitch as well last night:

    I am a Stitcher
A baby, a manger - will prob change the colours in this to really dark blue with splashes of yellow?
    Snowman kisses

I'm going to google free charts on Pinterest later, it's not a site I use...if I end up with loads more stuff I'm blaming you guys!!:D:rotfl::rotfl:

Just going to finish my cuppa then promised the kids I would help build and play one of their new Lego games this afternoon. Chinese tonight for hubby and I - I love Fridays :D

It says that the chart can be copied and shared by shops and guilds so if anyone would like a scanned copy please send me a pm with your email address

I also found this which is stitching words in the shape of a sewing machine

I was of course looking for something else and got completely sidetracked by these but that's why I love sorting through my stash

    evening all
been beavering away on blackowrk angel for wo days now (hence not coming on the puter) and ta dah shes finished!!! by no means is she perfect after cutting the fabric too small so not having the border, then being sold the wrong black/gock so the coat tails part is in a different thread to what it should be, once i got to the bead work i thought it was alread not as planned so ive used beads id got in instead of buying gold ones so my version has red beads in the lfowers and the hair and clear ones on the wings and the edge of the coat. its all washed pressed and ready to get framed. (hoping DH will agree to the framing being my valentines pressie. hes already offerd to pay but im not in a hurry to get it done now so ill be happy to wait.

found a piece of cream 14 count adia in my stash so going to find some designs suitable for the sandy hook stitching project.

love all the photos and your house rules are brilliant louise.
cant remember whos Dh has left his job but i really hope that all works out ok

Argh I've mis-counted, and have two sections (not very large ones) that I've stitched a row lower than I should have, any tips for correcting? Unpick, or stitch over? Argh.
