I'm new to this thread and I was hoping for some help. I was given the free snowman kit from Cross Stitch Card Shop issue 86 and the wreath card kit from Cross Stitch Crazy issue 170 for an extra little christmas present but both are missing their pattern chart is anyone able to forward me a copy of either of these patterns so I may complete them.
I would also like to thank you for your pictures on this thread they are all amazing.
Thank you.
Cross Stitch Card Shop usually include a copy of the chart in the kit itself albeit you need a magnifying glass to read it. I think they print a larger version of the chart in the magazine?
I'm not a fan of Cross Stitch Crazy mag so can't help you there I'm afraid.0 -
fos - love stitchers pic with new colours.
maria - little baubles and teapot are so cute.
caroline - <<<hugs>>> hope things work out for you.
Managed to do the tacking stitches on 12 days. Measured everything once, then twice and again for good luck and I dont seem to have as much fabric left for hemming when turning it into the hanging. Got DH to go over it with me as it is a big chunk of aida (50cm x 75cm) and he said that it appears that I have followed the instructions. Never mind will cross that bridge when I get to it.
Take care everyone

eeeeek caroline - that's going to be soo tough. (sorry I know you know that). I keep thinking how we'd cope if one of us gave up work/ lost our jobs but the thought is unbearable because the simple answer is - we couldn't.
flowerofscotland that design is lovely.Rainyday28 wrote: »Hi,

I would say - the magazine publishers, e-bay or perhaps your friend has the magazines if she gave you the kits??
sorry but even magazines have some copyright and it would be illegal for anyone on here to e-mail the charts to you. Saying that I know some people have stitched them and may be happy to sell them to you/ post you the originals for P&P.
BOBBIs MUMMY those stockings are lovely. I keep saying I will stitch one each for my 2 but then the idea gets shelved for another year.
*Louise* House Rules is brill. I can see what you mean about the pink tho. Could you outline that bit in black rather then re-pick it?

Really like the chart, Louise. Well done for creating it! :T
ETA:
Actually, looking at it again, it's the backstitching section under 'share' that I'm struggling to read (although it may be the screen) & the top bit of the next line (be happy). If you're not happy with it, it wouldn't be too much work to unpick those & use a darker shade. If it was my stitching, I know it would niggle at me every time I saw it. But that's just me...Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

so I am going to have a look at the Cherry Wood site....
I was getting a little disheartened at the fact that CherryWood don't sell on their site, and only through American suppliers. Found p&p to UK at $18, then $13.50 and after a little more searching have found the site 1-2-3 stitch which will deliver to the UK for $4.99 (after converting to £ that's cheaper than some places within the UK will post!):T My MIL gave me £20 for christmas to spend on me so I'm going to treat myself
Looking at the picture again, there are some bits I would possibly change anyway. Eg: substitute 'fabric' for 'linen', and I'm not too keen on the joined up text in the middle section.:o Deffo going with that colour scheme though :j

I've used 123 Stitch before & would recommend. They're usually a good price for charts etc.
Looking forward to seeing your version of it, Louise.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Sorry I haven't updated - DH's birthday was yesterday and he decided he wanted an aquarium... Cue a lot of time spent sourcing all the bits!
On the bright side my army officer stitch arrived today. It's massive! Good thing I've given myself plenty of time to do it - I'm itching to get started but I promised to finish my other projects first.0 -
