BEG This kit that I am doing at the moment was RRP at £60 as well. I got it from USA years ago for £20. I have chosen this for my 10.11.12- 11.12.13 which was also RRP at £60, but again got it for a lower price from ebay USA. I did purchase both when I had lots more money and they have just been sitting in my house untouched for years :rotfl:
I think they are both discontinued now.cross stitch cafe #90 UFO's 6 to finish in 2013, and loads of new kits to boot

Morning everyone - just finished reading through the last lot of pages that I have missed over the weekend, lots of projects coming along really well. :T
*****OFF TOPIC***
I have been hectic here - was out on Saturday helping collect for the Poppy appeal, took part in the parade on Sunday morning, followed by and afternoon in the legion and a nice meal with workmates.
Only downside was I had a slip on a doormat and hurt my leg.(bit annoying that everyone assumes I was drunk when I rarely touch the stuff!) Ended up in hospital to get it checked out - twisted the ligaments. Told to go back in a couple of days if it still hurts for an xray (it does) but it's bearable and the swelling is going down now.
***BACK ON TOPIC***
Have done a little more on project 12, I only have days 9, 10 and 11 to complete now :T Feeling guilty that my mums project is hardly started and my MIL's hasn't even had the thread and fabric sorted yetNeed to get a move on - my DMC project will definitely be waiting until afer Christmas!

Hello, I'm back again! As hard as I try to keep up on here my good intentions always get sidetracked somewhere along the line! I do get an update on my email each morning so keeping up with what's happening!
There have been some absolutely stunning pieces finished & still in progress. Looking at these is keeping me mptivated with my stitching.
I'm still working on Make Do & Mend - it's coming along nicely. Was hoping to finish it to date it 10-11-12 but failed as I suddenly got loads of cake orders! I'm occasionally picking up the Purple Wizard but I'm struggling a bit with the black aida especially as I'm having problems with my eyes. My other current project is the Merry Christmas sampler out of this months Cross Stitcher which I love (I remember reading some of your reviews of the mag and people weren't keen - then I saw it and had to do it!). This is the one i'm aiming to finish on 12-12-12! I will eventually get round to putting pictures up but don't get on the PC much as I'm baking most mornings, sleeping most afternoons (ME is still not great) and DH started a Masters in Biomedical Science a few weeks ago so he's on the PC all evening & weekend. The upside to DH Masters is that the TV is in the same room as the PC so I can't watch it while he's working which means I get a good 4 hours stitchy/reading/craft time most evenings.
Anyway, only popping on to say hello. Have a Christmas cake in the oven at the moment so I thought I's use the time to catch up on admin ... oops!
Louise - hope your leg gets better quickly. In the meantime plenty of rest = good excuse to stitch! xxCross Stitch Cafe 2011 - no 58 :A

Everyones stitching is wonderful, love all the finished/framed pieces. Sorry can't remember who mentioned the scottie ABC i posted but it was from the mag issue that you mentioned in an earlier post (will check back and see if i can find it) Here is my latest BD update, must update my sig as its so wrong :rotfl:
**OT** Tikaani is doing really well no seizures in 13 days, so either the medication is working or the trigger factor has gone. We think the trigger may have been her teething and they have all come through now so fingers crossed it wasCross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -

Here I am... Good coincidence. I've been reading at work when I can (work is a horrible place, has been so for a few months now, due to cutbacks and council policy), but I'm unable to post from there.
I'm with Orange broadband and it's been poor or non-existent for a few weeks now. I'm one of the 90 thousand who have had their contracts altered by Orange - removal of the free broadband etc. it's been horrible, even up to arguing with them over where I bought my contract!! But thanks to a thread here I knew what to do about their underhanded mis-selling, but despite their repeated assurances I've been cut off several times  fingers crossed its sorted now, well at least till May... I will not be staying with orange unless they have a Very good offer.
I've been feeling very overwhelmed, the house is a never ending slog, i just cant get organised, my best friend has decided to tell me she's hated me for a year now (no idea what i can do about that now), my dad is awaiting a triple by pass, hubby's company is hemoraging staff to illness & quitting (thus making it worse for those remaining), my work is soul destroying (but I know I'm lucky to be employed at all). And I still havnt managed to finish that wedding sampler
Sorry everyone. And I'm feeling more positive today as I'm off work (having to work Friday night so am not there today)Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Wow, who needs enemies eh?
Sorry to hear trouble is piling up for you, hope things ease up soon (((hugs)))
Regarding your friend - is she happily married or single? Cos my first thought when I read that was that she might be jealous. Do you intend to try and sort things out or are you just calling the firendship a day? FOS Its a case of needs must - we have to get some more money in - hubby is trying but nothing is moving. Will get him to help me - he can pack up orders for me.
Sorry to hear some people have downs with stuff. That is the great thing about in here - we have all become a great wee support network for each other - so thank you each one of you.
Hubby bless him found a piece of aida in a charity shop - quite a big bit but it had some damp spots so he bleached it and then put in in washing machine to wash it - it came out with two holes in it. Was quite a big bit - about 24inch by 40inch - only got it for £3. Will cut away from the holes and see what I can salvage - he wanted to have it clean and ready to show me. Bless.
Oh well better check on facebook and might even get on with some of purple work. Downloaded some new black work projects I found for free but these use colours - it is for the seasons they are only about 2" x 3".
Kind wishes to all
