    Hi ladies.

Georgia. Welcome to the Cafe. I looked up the design you are stitching and I want it!
Do you have a cat or just like the design?

Louise. I went to see a psychic once too and like you I'm not convinced. What she told me was quite generic when you break it all down and could apply to a lot of people in my age group.

Nmm. Nice update pic and I hope Tikaani does well on the meds.

    F*Dragonfly. Welcome to you too.

    PAP. Nice Christmas card finishes.

As for me. I actually got some stitching done today, yay!! :rotfl: Not sure I'll get any done tomorrow as I'm at Addenbrookes in the morning for my yearly smear then so long as there are no more last minute problems we should fetch the new cat home.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

I'm also putting a plastic snap lap frame on my list, but not sure whether to get the large or small one?

Hi, welcome to the forum :j

I have the clip frame, the smaller of the 2 and I love it. Thank you Louise for recommending it, I know Louise does big heaven and earth designs on hers, so I don't think you will need the bigger one.

I second what Maria says, the smaller of the two has been adequate for my larger projects - I just pin the excess fabric in place at the sides and it's fine. :)

Yeah that's my experience so far. Sometimes it can sound like it's spot on but I have always recorded mine and when I listen back I can see how the person is getting info from me. If I sit down and get a name straight away or something solid I might start believing lol

I have been making choc tree decorations today - can I post a pic ven though it's not cross stitch related? :rotfl:

    Hi Georgia and Dragonfly

Georgia - I had this book which was good, though it's now showing it's (and my!) age and some of the projects look a little old fashioned:

Shelly l have three cats and would love more!! I love anything cat related lol so this was the perfect cross stitch for me :-)
  • Georgia have you tried utube for French knot tutorials? there are some good ones on there
