Made a start on Boofle tonight. Still awaiting part order from Cross Stitch Heaven - got email on Monday to say it would be sent on Tuesday - got another email tonight to say it has been despatched today - wonderful not :mad:

hope all are well and keeping warm
congrats to martin and wife on the arrival of their new baby

i think ive found a slight fault on the blackwork angel, was doing the face last night and it looked awful like a hook chinned crone more than an angel. if you line the two parts of the face up so that the gold border across the top is level the top of the head is a row out and it adds an extra stitch between below her nose where her mouth would be, ive uppicked the face till i put the hair in so i can do that last.
did the grey and gold of the sleeve last night so im getting there. need to go back to the shop tomorrow for a beading needle and the black/gold thread

lots of people have already posting doing her so im sure it can be sorted, but ill leave the face now till ive got the hair inplace - luckily its only a backstitched line so not major stitching to adjust.

Oh no! You've got me worried now :rotfl:I haven't actually looked at her properly for a week or so as I've been working on the door sign for Niece 1.

I've done her face and don't remember it looking too bad, maybe I lined up the face and not the border? If only I'd taken a pic I could check! Oh well will have to wait until hometime

Any chance of a picture of your progress? It sounds like you're on the home straight!

im sure you,ve lined up the face as its quite obvious that somethings amiss if you line the border up then look

off to see if i can find the camera, found camera but memory card is full and cant find spare will get the kids to help me over the weekend.
