Morning all
Ruth_honey - great to hear that you are back home. Take things nice and easy and make the most of it with plenty of stitchy time.
Louise - I just love MP. Looking forward to starting mine.
Sorted threads for 2012/2013 project yesterday. Put to one side the ones I had, substituted some others and now got a much shorter list to order :j. Will order these over the next few day and then put it to one side for the time being. Had email last night to say that the fabric had been despatched.
Started a little xmas card last night - snowman on sparkly aida and I love the effect.
Just catching up with a bit of last nights tv and then I am off to the gym around 7.20 for maybe an hour (well that's the intention anyway).
Hope you all manage some stitchy time this weekend.

The Michael Powell cross stitch is gorgeous *Louise*!!! Why do I feel like my stash (which currently holds only 2 tatty teddies and a huge fairylike HAED that I've done about 100 stitches of) is going to suddenly shoot up!
Thanks for the crafty critters nmm and everybody for all your suggestions, I've printed everything off, gonna order the threads today mix the little pics up into some kind of formation and when it's a WIP I'll post for professional opinions

Lovely cottage *louise*
kids didn't settle till nearly 9 (and don't get me started on hubby I'm too cross even to rant) so I only managed to finish 1 more leaf.
Well hubby is playing lego in the loft with DS1 and DS2 has decided to nap(hmmm so why is he banging around??) so....... Supernanny and stitchy time for mummy (stuff flyladying!!)
Maybe I'll get the last leaf done too. I think I'm gonna stitch just the outline and then initial and date in the inside.
FYI it's a freebay weekend if anyone is interested.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Had my lie in with the cat this morning :smileyhea My shopping has been delivered and I'm just waiting for the washing machine to finish so then its a day on the sofa or I'm going into town. The sofa is winning at the moment. Just not sure if the sofa does win, what I shall stitch!0

maria - don't worry already discovered the wishlist on Making Spot and it is growing each time I visit. One thing I was tempted with was Madonna and Child - but I'm being a good girl and saving it for some other time maybe/possibly.
littlestar - some of the free charts on Making Spot look lovely and the fact they are free makes them even lovier.
Flat Eric - I'm torn between housework or a lazy stitchy sort of afternoon :think: decisions decisions .......
Postie brought aida (light hessian) for Margaret Sherry 12 Days of Christmas this morning.
