The chocolate moouses are delicious and much nicer than any of the more expensive ones! Lovely as an after-dinner treat! I think they are 25p.
I'll also second the jaffa cakes. They use dark chocolate as opposed to milk choc, which I think makes them much nicer than Mcvities!!Because it's fun to have money!

I have tried this and didn't enjoy it, the texture was too hard.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

We always buy the butter, marg (1kg for £1.35), washing up sponges, mushy peas, mint sauce, tomato sauce, pasta, mayo, battered fish portions, mixed veg, beans (but have found beans in home bargains 4 for £1 which are nice), squash, Philadelphia type cheese, biscuits and more.
I don't buy the bin bags as they're very thin, washing up liquid or toilet paper as I can buy better brands for around the same price in home bargains or b&m.Wife and mother :jGrocery budget

I've found the garlicy one, in particular, to have a much more liquid texture than the plain one. Still tastes all right, but have to drain some whey off when opening the packet.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

Tried the value pot noodle, and it tasted disgusting.... very weak, no taste compared to a normal chicken and mushroom one, i dont have them very often so will stick to the norm next time.
The 12p Value Noodles reconstitute fine if you save the Value Not Poodle plastic pots, and are cheaper than the Not Poodles.
Add a squirt of mushroom ketchup or chili sauce for some flavour.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
The Value Chilli Con Carne has quite a lot of fat in the tin and a bit of a funny taste.
However if you 'cut it' with some tomato ketchup, chilli sauce, or some extra pepper to reduce the greasiness, it's acceptable. Not as good as Goblin Chilli but the poundshop have sold out of that here ...A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

I didnt realise there was Value contact lens solution, i'll have to look out for that! All the 45p facial wipes were sold out in my storeeveryone must have the same idea!
I also agree with the poster that value binbags and washing up liquid is not worth the money, they do not work well at all. I used to get Sainsburys basic loo roll which worked fine - havent tried Tescos yet though xNov NSD: 8/7 Dec NSD: 1/10Sealed pot member #1443 2011: £106. 2012: £171Ninjakat challenge: Aim to clear two debts by April 2013100 day challenge: No toiletries or magazines 19/100 (3 x fails)

The Tesco's value version of Frosties (can't remember what they're called) are really good value, I actually can't taste the difference.0
