Catowen I am the same, my DP says you tidying it incase we get burglars but I just don't want it to come home to.

Michelle I've had to make the same call to NPower, they doubled my DD, it was crazy, anyway I called them and they said they could accept £95 a month instead of the £135 on the letter, why not do that in the first place I don't know!

Well since I got up I've not stopped flying as I felt a little better, making myself dizzy again so have come for a sit down and a nosey :)

Kids rooms done apart from vacuuming as DP asleep, he didn't get home until after 4am, kids rooms tidy but for how long I don't know, hopefully they'll be outside most of next week as the weathers still lovely. I managed to vacuum downstairs while they are upstairs on PCs so front hall, sitting room, kitchen and back hall done. Have emptied a kitchen drawer as could smell something iffy, looks like milks been spilt on the bench and gone into it, so just bleached that and it's drying now (need to refill but will try to get it a bit more organised as it's the tablets/medicine/first aid drawer) Thinking ice cream tubs to organise might work as it took me 10 minutes to find a plaster this morning.

Got a few small ebay items must remember to pop them in a post box at some point today, might send them with DP to work as there is a box on the taxi rank he usually works from.

Right best get that drawer refilled, then left for the rest of the day is

    Vacuum upstairs throughout
Sort one 'junk box' (I have a lot of these at the minute)
Sort next to fridge, build new rack and fill
Put 'winter' duvet in vacuum pack sack thingy and under bed for storage
Put laundry for our room away
Got to DIY store if it's open for varnish for the dining table CLOSED
    [STRIKE]Clean upstairs windows that I haven't done
Replace DS1 pillow case and DS2 duvet cover drying now
Clean sofas darn dogs jumped on them after a dash about in the garden
Sort freezer, list and do meal plan (also shopping list to go with it)
Go to garden centre for 4 more sacks of pebbles and a junction box for pond pump
Rest of dailies [/STRIKE] and bake some banana muffins :)
One day I might be more organised...........

Still no flying accomplished, but DS and I have decorated our Easter tree which is now sat on the dining room table looking very pretty.

I am noticing how clear the stairs are being kept as items are now being taken upstairs rather than languishing there for a few days.

I did actually scrub my saucepan rack the other day. It's just above the cooker and gets splashes from the cooking and so that looks clean and tidy now. I think sometimes it's those little things that spur you on.

    Today I want to...
    do the ironing
make Easter cards with DS- did the first batch, more to do tomorrow
    clean our bedroom-didn't get done
hoover throughout the house-didn't get done
write clues with DH for DS's egg hunt tomorrow-all sorted
bake fairy cakes and decorate with DS to give as Easter presents to grandparents-partly done and made white chocolate and cranberry muffins
do some more work in the garden- another coat of wood preserver on the fence and lots of playing games!

    Better get a move on.

    Happy Easter everyone.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Now that's something I need to keep an eye open for is a good saucepan rack. They end up in the plates cupboard which really isn't suitable as can't close the door properly with them in there. Need new utensil rack at some point aswell, serves me right for buying a cheap one as they are now sagging and all chipped.

Sorry I've not posted but have been getting loads done (with help). Lots of outside jobs done, I have started writing lists for DSs and they can go out when its done. I need them to get up earlier though so can get their rooms done. DS3 has been a massive help this holiday. We got ALL the jobs done on last three days lists, and we have 3 kids bedrooms to do today. Already started on DS1s room as he went out to work early, WM on but not a good drying day here, very grey and still. Thanks for advice on toilet cleaning,Lil me ,worked a treat! One disadvantage of this flylady is I get on computer to check days list then just start browsing anything I can find of interest. I am easily distracted. Right must go and rally the troops!

I've done two loads of washing. Polished and vacuumed downstairs and upstairs!

DH, DD and her boyfriend are in the back garden demolishing the shed......it's being broken up to be taken to the tip now except for one panel which is going to be used to mend the fence where the dear little boy next door has repeatedly kicked his football against it.

My washing is on the airer outside for the moment as the line had to be moved for them to work but I should be able to peg it out again properly later.

I got a cheap rack that can be fixed to the wall or inside a cupboard door on ebay fr about £5. Bought it with my b'day money! It is great as mine is on wall in kitchen and I don't have to go groping around in pan cupboard any more, also kids used to shove everything in the cupboard and when door was opened all pan lids fell on the floor. lol

I've not got that far - if i move more than about a foot away from baby he cries, same if he thinks i am not paying him attention. I feel like i am going bonkers today. Spent most of the day with him on my knee. Got an hour when he slept, where i got a few bits done. He's now laid next to me on the settee, holding on to my arm for dear life and pulling my shirt. I've tried getting himto play on the floor, and he's having none of it.

Michelle - have you tried putting him in a sling on your back? Both my nephews were much happier when very close to my brother and SIL so they used to do housework/cook with the baby on their back - both nephews seemed to enjoy the movement.

    Hello everyone

Well so glad I did all upstairs yesterday as it means I have nothing to do today!! just as well 'cos I am at work (not so yeah! but only till 3pm)

House is clean and sparkly (although girls been at home with daddy for 2 1/2 hours so maybe not:eek: ).

Left DH with a couple of jobs to do as may have BBQ tomorrow, but dont want to say it too loud incase weather changes;) .

Off to big Tesco after work in the hunt for a static duster thing - I so want one, sad I know! Need to get some sandles for littles to play about in the garden in, trip to clarkes for their proper summer shoes lumming along with a £50+ hole in my purse:eek: .

    Enjoy the sunshine everyone :D

Thanks for the thought. He's a big lad though at 18 pounds two weeks ago when he was weighed, and i think i would seriously get a hernia if i tried to do that.

He's not normally that bad, but teething and not very well, and we all like to snuggle when not well don't we. He's surgically attatched to the dummy today. Will try to persuade him to swap it for the teether.

ours was £10, then 16, now £32, and they want us to put it to £55 but they can naff off. I've had the heating on more because of the baby, but don't think i will use anywhere near as much now it is warm again.

I'm not going to get in credit with any company. Will have to get round to ringing, best do that tomorrow i think when DH is around to watch bubs tomorrow.

    Michelle, x
  • Hi all - michelle - know what its like with clingy baby but hope he is feeling better soon

it is hard to be motivated to do anything inside on such lovely days but although haven't done all lists this week, downstairs is really tidy. I am off to have half hour upstairs now and also to put sofa covers washing,

    have a lovely day
