Woke up by DP at about 4.30am ish, was up and about by 6am starting on things and have pottered about since aswell as drinking several coffees, not in any mad rush to get it done but have made a start. Boys are up now which will no doubt hinder my progress! I have a list somewhere of what I 'hope' to get done over the weekend which is mainly reorganising, gardening stuff etc, but being my usualy disorganised self I can't find it :rotfl:One day I might be more organised...........

I'll be watching, never miss an opportunity to kick someone
Not wow really, DP comes in about that time when he's at work but he's not well and has tossed and turned so I couldn't stay in bed any longer. Kids are usually up by 6.30am but stayed in bed a little longer this morning.
Probably could do with one myself, I was being all good this morning but have now lost all the motivation I had. Must sort the cupboard I started as the contents cover the bench. Need to clean it all out and clean the items then put them back (date checking as I go) I also need to sort fridge and freezer again and do a new list, been trying to run both down so need to keep updating what's in there. See if I can squeeze another weeks meal plan from both.
Right, washers finished time to get that quilt on the line, might was DS1s quilt next seeing as the washing baskets empty now. Will check fish and water plants while I am out there. One day I might be more organised...........

Morning everyone!
Thanks for the birthday wishes. So far, i was woken at 6:15 by baby who had managed to get both legs through gaps between buttons on his grow bag, so i took him in bed with us for a bit and managed to get up nearer 7:30. DH got up though, as he had to wrap my pressies. He says its cos i'm always in now, but i know as usual he didn't think to do it till today.
I got some new kitchen scales, and a beautiful huge bunch of flowers from DH, a top from MIL, a photo album and some nice moisturiser from my mate, and money from a couple of rellies. (will save towards my other light i want for the dining room).
I also got poached egg on toast made for my breakie, and a cup of tea in bed first thing.
I won't get a day off, but i am hoping to do some jobs from the list, and perhaps to wash some of the curtains from upstairs while the weather is so good. Having newly washed pillows wass devine, so i can't wait to freshen everywhere further.
Have a beautiful day everyone!

Sounds fab Michelle. I know as a Mam a day off rarely happens. Business as usual here birthdays or not. Agree with you about the clean bed linen, love it myself.
Well second loads on the line, have watered the plants and checked on the new fish, it's a miracle they are all still alive, much to DS1s relief. Kids going on PCs for a bit so I can get vacuumed downstairs. Best get cracking!
*Edit rather than posting again, downstairs vacuumed throughout and mopped aswell* While doing this spotted a smell, dog bed, ewwww!!! Possibly because everything else smells better lately things like this now stand out more :rotfl:Covers now in the wash, downside it's a huge fluffy cushion so will have to brush it once it's dry. Sat down while floors dry, any excuse
One day I might be more organised...........

Happy Birthday Michelle.
Things are prettyhere as one of our rats died yesterday afternoon. I'm hoping that the other one isn't going to get lonely. The BF has said he's not sure about having anymore and he's not sure he can go through this every couple of year. She is now buried in the garden and I'm going to plant some nice flowers over where she's buried.

Happy Birthday Michelle.. I hope you have a lovely day... sound slike a pretty good start!!
I got home this morning at 3:30am.. having walked a friend home and then going for chips.. why are you always starving at the end of a night out??
Today I have loads of washing to catch up on.. but it is gorgeous out so it will all go on the line.. I am trying really hard not to use the TD for anything other than socks and pants and other tiny bits of laundry. I'm not doing too bad.
I have just received a £38 cheque from greasypalm so that was a nice surprise and can be added to my mortgage fund.
I have the front room needing whizzing over and my bedroom is looking a bit like a bear pit so I'd like to spend some time doing that.. problem is as soon as I go in there my head it is bedtime and I just go to sleep!!
I have 1 ebay parcel to package up which I didn't get time to do yesterday.
The kitchen needs a really good scrub as well.. so when the sun gets round there I'll do that!
Right now I need a cuppa or 4!!
Enjoy the sunshine!!

Oh no!!! Sympathy for you Shirley. I love rats, ex and i went through quite a few. We found when we had just one he became more sociable. Got addicted to the TV. Just loads more attention seems to work. It is a shame when the die, but they do only last on average 1.5years. (mind you one of ours lasted for 3!!)0
