    Evening ladies, and flyboy wherever you are :)

    New lists now up. Got my jobs done before lunch time and spent the rest of the day in the garden clearing stuff, emptying pond and refilling, moving things etc and a trip to the garden centre, need to go back tomorrow, told him there wasn't enough pebbles but you know what men are like!! Spent the evening at my sisters, went for a few miles walk with my sis, her DP, her kids and what was probably half the kids in the street aswell as my 2. They're like the pied piper, wherever they go dozens of kids follow. Anyway her DP is way too adventurous sometimes, we ended up with thorns and nettle stings, having to lift the kids across in some places etc. Was an adventure I suppose but I'm all bumped, bruised, pierced and stung.

    Good luck for tomorrow everyone, I'm now sat on my lazy bum having a hot chocolate (with squirty cream on top) and a well earned sit down, hope those who won't be online after tomorrow have a great weekend.
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    Anyway.. my front room is all twinkly, the toys ahve been banished, the bottom of all the wash baskets are visible and all dirty laundry is put away clean and line dried!.. apart from the load in the dryer at the moment.

    I am hoping to be going out again tonight.. I got in early last night.. about half 12 .. hasn't it just been glorious the last couple of days.. too hot mind but it has been lovely.. I am all pink!

    I've been pretty good considering I normally do nothing when it is hot!

    Pigpen - have you got so much done because you were sans computer :p;) ? I got loads done the first few weeks after moving till broadband got put in?

    Horrid few days at w*rk doing grim things to nice people :wall: . Looking forward to four days at home gardening and taming the house again. Starting to sink so I really need to get it back into control. Tonight I have done the DW, TD and WM, filled the bird bath and then collapsed exhausted.

    Need to drum up energy and enthusiasm for tomorrow and start again......

    Ok peeps need a big kick as house completely pants. I have let it slip from all my good intentions.

    Kids broke up on Wed so I made a start today and
    Sorted all my drying/ironing piles.
    Sorted back room hot spot.
    Cleaned the kitchen to within an inch of it's life, just the floor to wash.
    WM on x2. TD x1. DW x1
    Cleaned downstairs loo
    Baked fairy cakes and did rice crispy cakes with the kids.

    As they are off I am getting them involved in the clear up :rotfl: As dd has a friend coming tomorrow pm both kids doing a tidy bedroom tomorrow am. Will also get them to help wash the downstairs outer windows this weekend, they'll love that :D

    So tomorrow
    Will move furniture in back room and lounge, DH home so he can help, and give a good clean, inc washing sofa/chair covers and vaccuming.
    WM on again prob 3 loads
    Will venture into garden wilderness :eek: and hang washing out if it's nice
    Clean upstairs bathroom
    Vaccum all of upstairs apart from our room which is a hotspot in itself that I will tackle week after next as we're away on a short break from Monday to Friday next week :rotfl:

    Sorry rambling a bit now but posted to say I will get my sorry butt into gear over the next 2 weeks and really blitz the house to get it up to scratch so the weekly routine is easier and quicker :rotfl:

    Todays effort was help put garden shed up in back yard. It's not finished yet, but hopefully will be tomorrow.

    Three loads of laundry washed, dry, but not yet folded;
    Made scones for all the hungry workers for lunch;
    Vacuumed living areas;
    Cleaned main bathroom/toilet;
    Lasagne is in the oven for dinner . . .

    and the big thing that happened today . . .

    My big boys came home from Uni :):):)

    DS1 is home just for the easter weekend and DS2 is home for three weeks! I'm in heaven! They brought all their dirty laundry home :rolleyes: but I'm still happy.

    Right..

    have been following this weeks plan as best I could, kids off school wanting to do things and weather being so good... too nice to do housework.

    Apart from hardly being able to move because of backpain, I feel motivated today... sun shining again, washing machine on. Going to see McFly tonight with DD1, should be fun... teenagers screaming all around me (maybe even some mums :grin:
    Becca my sister from Holland coming on Monday, yippee, can't wait to see her and my little niece and spoil them rotten..
    Just had a phone call and our mother is getting out of hospital tomorrow, after breaking her hip last week. Still not great at walking but at least she will be surrounded by her own things. So things are looking up (if only I didn't have this backpain)

    so today:

    hang washing out
    [STRIKE]ironing[/STRIKE] (did this at 4.30am this morning when I couldn't sleep from the backpain)
    good scrub of the kitchen floor
    hoover
    dust
    kids rooms (will change bedding at weekend before sister comes)
    shopping for easter weekend
    clean stairs
    clear out fridge and wipe
    BM
    make sultana bread

    Have a great easter weekend everyone

    Good morning everyone,

    Going to borrow that KICK today if thats ok - we are going away for a few days on Sunday, so want to get the house ship shape before we go - i hate coming home to a messy house!!!

    So, need to get upstairs and do the bedrooms, luckily ive kept on top of downstairs, so i can concentrate on them today. However, as it is my first day off, and ive had a lie-in, and the weather is beautiful outside, i dont have much 'get up and go' (think it 'got up and went!!!').
    Oh well, still a few hours in the day - i will get it done!!!

    Right, off for my shower - have a great day everyone
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Put ironed clothes away
    [strike]Make easter card for friend, and wrap her DS’s pressie[/strike]
    plus anything else that comes up throughout the day
    looks like not a lot done, but
    • 5 loads through WM, all on line so far (I know the machine washes it but who loads/unloads it ;)
    • pulled all furniture out again in LR/dining room, and thoroughly swept the laminate. Even got the feather duster out and dusted between the large bookcases and telly cabinet that i can't pull out
    • had another crack at seperating out/folding up 3-6 month clothes, so i just need to go now with boxes/pen/tape and get on with sorting it out
    • watered kitchen plants (forgot when i did the LR ones)
    • changed water in 2 vases of flowers (now looking a bit past it so i also took off manky leaves) will do the others with DH later
    Right, will see where i get. I'm just relieved i forced myself to put the travel bags away last night as i was fed up of seeing it on my list.

    The tugging on my sleeve has now stopped, so i am going to risk moving, and doing something. ;)

    If you aren't going to be around, have a fab easter, and see you next week.

    Michelle, x
