Well looks like I've done nothing but was out a few hours at garden centre etc. Spent much more than expected as decided to get the fish and pond plants today aswell. Kids are now happy, especially fish mad DS1 (Who is sat watching Deadliest Catch now) Did some planting in pots to make the area look nicer and sorted out the pond plants we'd bought. Now also has a net over to protect the kids from falling in/dipping hands in and keep cats and our dogs out aswell as the huge amount of rubbish that keeps getting blown in/thrown in the garden. Unsure which but took a bag full out of the pond this week. Looks much better now. Have made dinner and now it's just the rest of the housework to do from list and general tidy before I bath double trouble. One day I might be more organised...........

hi, hope everyone had lovely day, lil_me sounds like you've done loads, pigpen, hope little one's mouth is ok.
i have just managed to maintain tidiness downstairs today and keep kitchen tidy which is an achievement for me!! i batch cooked bolognaise and washed sofa covers, other than that playing in garden - i don't have any plants other than grass but was feeling like i wish i had some fruit or veg growing!! hmm may need to investigate is there a thread on here somewhere as i am absolute novice - and may just be a 'romantic' idea due to sun and wanting to be in garden - well have a lovely weekend everyone0 -
I have done a heap of washing.. I even ironed the last few of hubby's work shirts which were hanging on the kitchen units... grrr.. I hate that!
He has gone out with a few of his employees so I am left home alone.. though I may go out later once DS1 is home.. he has gone to 'babynight' at the local club so will be back just after 9:30 I think... I may end up with an extra one staying over though.. I've only ever done a 'sleepover' as a fvour for a friend before.. never had a real one!
I need to do a quick whizz over the front room and find the kitchen under the debris of dinner.
WM's both need to be on and I'm done for the day.
scaredy.. we have really simple things growing.. strawberries, raspberries, apple tree (or 6) cherry tree rhubarb and herbs.. all kind of grow themselves with little or no input from us.. apart from minimal pruning at the end of summer when you are closing the garden for the winter they require very little care. Strawberries in hanging baskets can be bought from the garden centres usually.. and it keeps the sluggies and snailies off them.. always a bonus!! Have you had a good week this week, sweetie?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Good evening everyone
Well, all my plans went out the window - had a shower and got dressed - then got some stuff out of the loft to do a car boot sale on monday, and stuck it all in my bedroom, so no point in cleaning that one then!!!!
We go away on sunday, but i will need to load the car up tomorrow, so the plan (now) is to load the car up in the morning, then clean the bedroom then, will be a lot easier without all the junk and easter eggs in it (having easter tomorrow as well - my children get loads of eggs every year (yum) so will be good for the easter bunny to hide them for an egg hunt in the morning!!!)
Right, going to continue sitting around doing nothing!!!
Have a great evening xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

looks like not a lot done, but- 5 loads through WM, all on line so far (I know the machine washes it but who loads/unloads it
- pulled all furniture out again in LR/dining room, and thoroughly swept the laminate. Even got the feather duster out and dusted between the large bookcases and telly cabinet that i can't pull out
- had another crack at seperating out/folding up 3-6 month clothes, so i just need to go now with boxes/pen/tape and get on with sorting it out
- watered kitchen plants (forgot when i did the LR ones)
- changed water in 2 vases of flowers (now looking a bit past it so i also took off manky leaves) will do the others with DH later
It's also my birthday tomorrow so we may have a takeaway, depending on whether i can be bothered to cook. Saying that, money is a bit tight, so probably shouldn't
Well, most places are looking really tidy for the weekend. Will need to hoover through over the weekend, and spend some time catching up with other things on the list. Not doing anything else now tonight. Having my glass of mummy medicine in front of the telly, and looking forward to getting in my fresh bed. Only wish i has washed the duvet as well. Might see if that will fit in our WM next time i change the bedding.
Night night everyone,

Oh that's great maralum. Always nice having pride in your home and even better when someone else mentions it. Well done
Happy Birthday Michelle. Hope you're having a well earned day off today.
Being up when noone else is I've made a start. 2nd washer loads in now, 1st is on the line, I've started emptying a kitchen cupboard to sort and clean out, working my way through them one by one. Got more dailies to do but the bathrooms been wiped over, loos clean, dogs been out and fed, poop patrol done and I'm just about to go and check on the new fishforgot we had them when I was hanging washing out.
Hoping it stays nice as a lot to do in garden, got quite a bit to do in the house aswell but DPs been unwell since just after getting in from work so when the boys get up going to try to keep them entertained but quiet as possible, I'll do the other house stuff especially upstairs things later when he goes to work tonight/this evening hopefully. One day I might be more organised...........

Happy Birthday Michelle, hope you have a great day.
Congrats on the compliment maralum.
Off to a jumble sale this morning, then to a local park for a family Easter event they are holding, will be taking a picnic for lunch, then this afternoon we'll be having DS's egg hunt in the house and garden as tomorrow we are off to the inlaws for the day.
So with all those plans I better get a wriggle on and make a start on tidying the kitchen....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.
