    Righto - what have I done today . . .

    Got winter sheets out of storage and washed;
    Stripped kids beds and put winter sheets on;
    Walked puppy twice;
    Library;
    Picked up DS3 from school camp;
    All dirty camp clothes in WM as I type;
    All business accounts reconciled for March;
    GST sorted and ready to post;
    Accounts printed and posted.

    I was rather proud of myself last night. Whilst waiting for puppy to piddle outside before going to bed I swept the laundry floor. And boy, did it ever need it!!!

    Good Friday tomorrow, but no rest for the wicked! I have some catching up to do!

    I don't mean to be dim but how can I get my 3 loos clean without using chemicals. I tried cola and some cheap washing powder so far. Also any tips on cleaning showers, please?

    And what do you use to clean a computer?

    Have you tried scrubbing with bicarb? I'm not sure if you could make a paste with vinegar - but it would be worth a go.
    Computer - microfibre cloth.
    I have to say that I am now a huge stardrops fan - but I don't think it falls into the non-chemical category!

    Since joining in this forum, I've discovered that I can 'just' do something else while waiting for something to finish or do.... its been quite a revelation!
    I can't quite get to grips with reading about putting winter bedding on though - we are just thinking about taking off the extra duvets and leaving the kitchen door open for the first time this year. Great for airing the house, but not very good for flying - half the kitchen is now in the garden and more than half the garden is now in the kitchen.......

    Ive read through most of this thread, & realise that I am a terrible housekeeper. I dont do half of the things mentioned on the list of to-dos, & my house (or at least the living room) looks like a Chinese laundry. I think I need to blitz ...

    6. Clean toilet
    7. Sweep floors downstairs and clean walls in corner where new unit is going.
    8. Pile up stuff to take to dump.
    9. Walk to town, buy greenhouse and wood glue for DH.
    10. Look for new shoes for DD.
    11. Socks for DD
    12. Visit Primark - for me!!!!

    Morning everyone.

    It's a beautiful day here, so the plan mainly for today is to take the baby for a walk and do a few local errands, and then wash wash wash.

    I'm leaving the baby in a babygrow today as he has a snotty nose, and i think it will also help him to roll over again, as he is a lot free-er to kick.

    He's being mardy again,although so far, not as bad as the rest of the week.
