Have made the muffin doughnuts and they are in the oven at the mo. Girls also wanted to make fairy cakes so they are in too, will do icing and sprinkles later so that is another activity to keep them entertained.

Do have to say I hope these doughnuts turn out as good as they smell my tummy is growling so much, would be good to get a last min viewer at mo as whole house smells lovely!!!!

May crack on and do a batch of oat biccies at the same time as oven is on. DD2 busy licking cake bowl out. Will re S&S kitchen but it actually is not as messy as the usual baking sessions - guess they are getting older, that or they lick the table clean when I am not looking:drool:

OK, muffins out, fairy cakes, out and biccies in! Think I may try making some of those other muffins someone started a thread about the other day. I know they used raspberries but as i dont have any will have to be chocolate!!

I'm back and hit my 10,000 steps for today and I've not finished yet

Still no luck with the rose for IL's, will try the main store tonight, if they dont' have something it will be a trip to B&Q again! Also priced the clothesline props and they wanted £6.99 EACH  Forget that...I went and bought 2 length of 1"x2" wood, carried it home (only hit one bus-stop on route and got 1 splinter...big improvement on the last time I carried wood home from a shop :rotfl: ), got the saw out and chopped them slightly (I don't think 10ft long poles would help so they're now about 7ft) and made a notch in the top of each one, then put them in position and a bit of masking tape over the gap to ensure they stay in position and not falling over - total cost : £3.60 plus labour..oh and a cream egg for DD for being so sensible and well behaved the almost 2 miles walk home :D:money:

I've managed to strip both beds, washed one load and thats basically dry now, towels have just finished & I have at least another 2 loads  I've managed 1 load of dishes and a trip to the community skip as well (old ironing board is gone :j ). So I'm going to go and put the towels out on the washingline, put another load in, and sort out the rest of the dishes and then tackle the ironing pile. No rest for the wicked :D

    Well hello there,

Just here for a ramble really. Have only just started cleaning the flylady way and I'm so happy with it!:j

It still takes me about two hours just to do the set daily tasks, but that's because my house was such a tip in the first place!!!:rotfl:

Such as today. I started cleaning the bathroom, which wasn't too bad, but as I was cleaning the loo, I noticed funny little patches on my wall. At first I couldn't tell what it was, so I got up close and personal for a good inspection. To my absolute horror, I realised that it was little splashes of...pee-pee! How foul, how atrocious, how did I not spot it before???:o

I should've thought about it before now, (newly trained four-year-old boy in residence) but it didn't even occur to me to check. Still, it's a lesson I've learnt and I can now add it to my regular rotation.

As soon as the basics are complete and my house is in a better state, I think I'll be able to do this all in a shorter time, even after the baby's born. She'll be a real flybaby!

So a big handshake to all you flybabies out there, keep up the good work, you're an inspiration!

Thanks for that H but I do my shop on-line and the choice is limited as its not the largest of stores (unfortunately). Although may drag DH to tesco extra a weekend so could grab a couple of bags then.

Well mixing the cakes may have been relatively easy but the mess they made when icing, decorating and then scoffing them was something else! Since then they have gone on to do a painting session and then a sticking and glueing session. Plus they had a muffin between them so crumbs everywhere. I felt really positive this morning and the house looked good. Now I have rehoovered about 4 times (not joking!!), removed half a pot of glue spread all over their craft table in the conservatory. Hoovered all the muffin crumbs off the sofa (thank god we bought a leather one).

Just in the middle of sorting tea out, kids had a bath so at least they are clean, just means bathroom now needs redoing thanks to paint handprints. Lets hope the weather is better tomorrow so we can go outside in the garden to play or maybe a trip to the park!

Got 2 loads of washing on the line so back upto date with that.

Right back to tea and see what other mischief the littles are upto I hear giggling!!!

    CCOOOEEEEE!!!!!

    Who missed me today???

Well.. my PC is deceased.. currently logged in on hubby's lappy.. :D

Off to the pub with my oldest (in time not years) friend.. she is home for a few days so we are off to get blathered! She wanted to meet at 8 like we used to in the olden days.. but I gently pointed out we need an extra half hour to put or children to bed and make ourselves glamourous now lol.. well.. she does! HAHA!!

I have done 2 loads of washing, hung it out and loaded the DW today.. and nothing else.. the sun is shining brightly and it is so warm I couldn't do anything but bask in the sun like a pampered moggy!.. I did play a few games of cards on my mobile.. hey.. it didn't mean moving anything but my thumbs! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Right.. off to wash my smell!

Have a LUVVERLY evening all.. I hope to be back in the morning providing my dollop of a husband gets my pc fixed tonight!
