Rach have you tried scrap yards ? I paid £20 for an electric one for a friends car recently. Can work out much cheaper. Search for salvage/vehicle dismantlers on www.yell.co.uk in your area should come up with loads. But good news about the teeth, think all mine are gone now, every time one came in I got abcess from hell so dentist just kept pulling them out.
thanks, the friend who gaffered it up for me tonight said the same thing. i have filled in a couple of request forms online, so am hoping something will come. some bits are ok, including the outer coloured bit which is good as my car is bright green. main problem is its an unusual car (polo estate) so might be hard to source!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
nicki - have you tried a garden centre, when i was getting roses last year there were hundreds at the garden centreMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

My brain fog has not lifted this week. I suppose that is what you get when you assault your body with fried food, rich food, alcohol, too little sleep, and wearing make up. And i wonder why i still feel groggy (but it was worth it and i would do it again.)
I didn't get any further last night, so as usual i am playing catch up.The story of my life, and it will only get worse when i am SAT marking next month. Particularly when the baby is being so clingy, and has worse mood swings than someone with PMT.

nicki - have you tried a garden centre, when i was getting roses last year there were hundreds at the garden centre
We haven't got time to check out a garden centre unfortunately, they're coming tomorrow! OH should have sorted something out at the weekend but as usual didn't put his brain/backside into gear and has left it until the last minute. I'm going to try another DIY superstore (the local one) today as I need to get something from there anyway and if they don't have one at this branch then we'll be trying the "main" branch tonight when OH gets in. If we still can't get it then we will be just buying them a general "Special Anniversary" rose  If only OH had put his brain into gear LAST week we would have been okay as I could have ordered it from the website I saw it on and had it delivered!
Right, I've got to make some slight changes to my list as I take into account the trip to the DIY store (I NEED to get a clothes prop for the washingline and non of the B&Qs we went to had one would you believe!:rotfl: If I can't get a proper one, which I would prefer, I'll get a length of wood and notch it instead...which would probably work out cheaper anyway!) and I need to be at Asda by 5pm this evening, including a trip prior to that to Aldi (fortunately thats just over the road from Asda) so that we can make it to the main branch of the DIY store if I can't get a rose in our local one. Enough rambling..my list :
