How did you get the ip addresses off mse?
Do they just hand them out if you request them?

I think the mods did that after a complaint from somebody on here.

They won't give out ip addresses, but they will probably confirm that this particular ip address has had a number of deleted accounts, without giving out any particular details in regards to it.
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Attempting to take the thread off-topic with a pointless display of irrelevant pedantry. Who could it be? Oh it's mikey, of course.

Even without access to the DVAL database, the ticketing operation could easily continue and still be extremly profitable, if the figures ive seen quoted on here about those who pay up without question are correct (60%) then it could easily be buisness as usual, without the hassle of the BPA codes, or court action. non payers could just be written off, or if there daft enough to appeal with name +address then let off with a much reduced ( but still proffitable) fee

Could it have been done deliberately then? So they are not part of the appeal process that is being set up. Maybe he think that paying £27 a shot is to much

nicew little opt out, someone posted something on here a while back where the bosss of CPS, Mr Perkins was complaining about the costs or the appeal process.
if enough people are daft enough to pay up with nothing more than a yellow self adhesive envelope, containing a few non enforcable threats then it could be buisness as usual, without the hassle of the BPA and trapsing up and down the country to loose court cases.

has anyone ever tweeted Martin saying something like "thanks to MSE I have saved £xxx by not paying/ignoring Private Parking Tickets", as he appears to be quite keen to retweet people who say things of this ilk (lately regarding PPI). Could be another way to spread the word if one or two get through and thus costing the PPCs a bit more revenue?

What a useless points system that is. It doesn't tell you how many you need to get a set of tumblers.
