Yes that's the one (korter_gsm) I used, one of the cheapest, feedback is high but also he doesn't just supply the basic unlock code, you get the lot just in case!

Quote from the code email I got

The FIRST code is the NETWORK UNLOCK PIN Code ( this is the code that 99% of Huawei phones ask )

The LAST code is the Simblock/RESET code in case if your phone counter is BLOCKED and its asking to Reset

SECOND and THIRD codes are needed for some phones only which ask for Service Provider Code (ex. U8510 Tesco phones)

Thanks for calling me "odd", though my ego can take it. Yes, I was trying to inject a bit of humour by referring to myself as a "phone stabber" (basically a compulsive smartphone addict) though it appears to have went over a few members' heads!
And yet they just keep coming.......

If that's a cricketing metaphor then that also appears to have wented over my head :)

    avoid cellunlockerpro.

He sent me the wrong code and when told of this requested me to make a video and put it on youtube showing me inserting the (wrong) code again and how the phone reacted!

(He eventually did resend a correct code, but only after me telling him his fortune over the video nonsense, and I discovered from his negs that this is how he always reacts when customers get a wrong code.

I used cellunlockerpro. The service was quick , correct and as we swapped emails very pleasant. So to balance this , use him.

Yes I used this one too. No problems at all and everything done as it was supposed to.

    No doubt.

the problem I experienced came when he sent the wrong code!

Other suppliers don't want video evidence when customers need a correct code sending out and charge the same, so why risk any such issues?
  • IIRc one of the sellers I looked at had the 'video evidence' bit in their T&Cs.
  • I also used Korter to unlock and it was excellent service. I haven't upgraded to ICS yet although I am planning to but just think this phone is excellent. OK it is my first smartphone so no doubt I'm easily pleased but I was comparing it to my friend's iphone 4 this morning and, well, I couldn't really see that the iphone seemed much better!

It is an Android phone, no different to any other one.
