Settings>Wireless & Networks>Mobile Networks>Network settings>Access Point Names>New APNWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0 -
Trying to pinpoint the battery/data problem.
I have now turned off all automatic updates for apps.
This morning between 8am and 10:30am it used up approximately 30% of battery and around 10Mb data. So turned off mobile network. This was with the phone sat on my desk, not in use.
Next 2 hours it used only 2% battery under same conditions. Used only 0.2Mb data.
Turned mobile data back on but unchecked Background Data in Sync settings. For next 6hrs it has used only 2% battery and again around 0.3Mb data. The data use was probably just me checking My O2 app.
How can I figure out what is using the big chunk of battery and data?0 -
Could be an app - have you installed any suspects? maybe try uninstalling a couple and see what happens
Could also be your camera uploading your photos to your google space - have you got your photos set to syncronise? - I have but I dont take many photos - not enough to make a diff anyhowWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0 -

Curious problem. I have been using mine all day several calls and texts, bluetooth on all the time, lots of handsfree, some surfing and I have the screen on full brightness and its only used 20%, I am really impressed with the battery life so far compared to other smart phones I have used.
Sorry not enough of an expert on Android to help but the answer is in there somewhere!
Everytime the internet is accessed its like making a call so I guess its your data usage frequency, weather widget updating often? Google and Gmail set to sync too often? Perhaps if you installed something like 'Advanced Task Killer' it would show you what is running in the background at any time. Or the Google thing that keep tabs on where you are if its turned on? Sat Nav off?0 -
Check the battery usage stats under about in settings, might help find the culprit. If not, you could install Better Battery Stats for move info... its bound to be an app causing it.0

It's definitely a 'rogue' app I reckon because the battery life is actually very decent on this phone ordinarily. There are now 8 (!) members of my family/friends with this phone and no-one appears to be having battery trouble. Don't worry, you'll find the problem soon enough.0
