Friend just texted the IMEI number as it was on the box. I'm helping her get it unlocked.

Do I trust the box or check the phone when I see her later?
  • Personally i would do the check - i know it's a VERY long shot but the phone may have at some stage been taken out of the box and put into the wrong one before being sold. For the sake of 2 mins of your time I would check.

    Probably right.

I was just trying to save some time as by the time I see her later and then get a chance to upload the info for the unlock code it will be about 6/7 hours from now.

What kind of sim card does it take?
  • Normal size. Not micro and not nano. Thankfully.

I wasn't expecting a nano sim as that's only the iPhone 5 I believe. At least the normal sim saves me from having to cut down her current O2 sim.

I have not had any luck with Tesco's and stock.

Sainsburys, Argos, Asda and the Vodaphone shop all do it at £99.:(

Has anyone seen any other deal on it anywhere? shop or online?

£99 still sounds like a good price for this phone.

Ultimately your right it is, but when you see the ticket on the wall at Tesco saying £65 if bought with £30 of other shopping.... now that's Money Saving!!!

If only they had any! Also I have various Tesco vouchers so would be walking away with one for £40 and some groceries I would be buying anyway.
