Spill the beans... on how to minimise loo paper use

Henry VIII used to use a swans neck.0

the most economic and hygenic method of cleaning your rear end
search bum gun on ebay0 -
a good way to save loo paper is to get a portable bidet which basically is a squirter plumbed in and you use it to squirt your butt and clean yourself. They have them in many overseas countries e.g. India and I would not be without mine :-)
The BUM GUN i agree the best and you can clean the toilet with it they have them for sale on ebay0 -
Seriously, does no-one use a bidet these days!! Alternative is a small purpose made shower attachment for the loo (which are available) and widely seen in places like Dubai etc.0

Is to use a bidet. You're spotlessly clean after and it's so much more hygienic. OK, so the initial outlay and installation can cost, but in the long term, it saves a fortune and I never ever have to bother with loo paper, other than for occasionally using some to blow my nose or mop up a spill.0

I buy 32 rolls for £2.99 from my local Asian supermarket. That's 9p a roll! Then I use the cardboard innard as part of my kindling for my open fire. So no wastage in my house0

Offer to recycle neighbours' newspapers, cut into squares, thread on string, hang on nail..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 -
I use Nicky brand - £3.99 for 18 rolls. It came out well on a TV comparison show, compared to better known brands. I get it from Home Bargains - a good store. If they've got it, it's cheap.0

Use paper and then a wet wipe. You'll find you're cleaner too!:embarasse:embarasse
PLEASE do NOT put ordinary wet wipes down the loo. They will block up the sewage system (which you may end up paying to unblock)
. Get the fast-disintegrating ones sold in supermarkets (79p/40 shts) specifically for the 'job'
.
I use those (just 1 sheet to finish off) - my bum loves them, and I need to use less toilet roll. They're quite big so can be folded to get more coverage
