    Hi All
Nothing much exciting happening here, sunny & very windy so I have 5 loads of washing done & hung on the line.
Mealplan & 4 page shopping list done, hoping to get to Tesco's tomorrow to do a 3 month shop.
Hope everyone has a good day.
    Hugs Hester

    Hello again!

Feeling very productive today which is rather nice :D The WM is on for the 3rd time, and the kitchen (where I'm sitting with the laptop) smells rather good due to the gammon that is simmering away on the cooker. I've done plenty of washing up and cleaning up, so rather pleased with myself for a change :j Taking the chance now to have a cuppa and some mini jaffa cakes :p

Still to do: another load of washing (once the machine finishes) - taking advantage of the sunny weather and freshening up some stuff I haven't worn for a while; prepare the veg for dinner; make packed lunches for tomorrow.

Hope everyone is having a good day! *hugs*

    Hello all,

Went to town this morning and picked up 4 fantastic recycling bins that stack, so now my kitchen is a bit more organised :D. Also went to try on boots but they didn't have any in my size. Was going to treat OH and I to a Hotel Chocolat egg, but at £36 I figured I have to work a whole day to pay for it and it just wasn't worth it - very MS!

Stripped the bed and done two loads of washing, they are hanging outside. Just about to clean the bathroom and the hall. Made a batch of bacon and sweetcorn chowder which we had for lunch with crusty bread, it was yummy.

Right, best get on. See you all later

Blairweech - any chance of a recipe for that bacon & sweetcorn chowder as it sounds absolutely

I've got a pot full of carrot and coriander soup on the go at the moment - it smells delish. Am going to have to overcome my aversion to washing up, as I'll need to use the same pan for my chilli later, and there's not enough in the DW for a load :D

Church was lovely this morning, it always looks fantastic on Palm Sunday and the music was great too (am I allowed to say that as I'm in the choir? :D)

CCStar - best of luck with the viewing :)

    Good afternoon everyone.

Peem, good luck with the potty training, it can feel like a nightmare at the time but soon you'll wonder what all the fuss was about. I chose the [strike]bribery[/strike] reward route with all of mine too. :D
anniebooklover, It's good to see you posting here again.
Kyle, I hope you managed to get rid of the headache and are feeling better now.
Jackie O, have a great time in New York.
lil_me, I hope you feel better soon.
Bargain, I think you did the right thing with your neighbour.
Pen Pen, we got a trampoline at Christmas and it's been great fun for all the kids…Mr Pink and I have been known to have the odd bounce too ;) , but only after dark so no one sees us!

Well we didn't manage to get as much painting done last night as planned…after tea we opened a bottle of wine and the painting went to pot. So this morning I made a cooked breakfast, including hm potato bread (special recipe recommended by Snowy) while Mr Pink got started on putting the first coat on. We're just about to begin putting the second coat on now.

To all of you who mentioned going to the dentist last week, I feel the same as Churchmouse…I would prefer to go through childbirth again than go to the dentist. However, I broke a tooth a while ago (on a toffee :o ) and I've been ignoring it……unfortunately it's rubbing against the inside of my mouth causing a slight ulceration so I'll have to ring on Monday for an appointment. Thankfully it's only an irritation and isn't causing any pain.

Roast lamb for dinner tonight…..hopefully the painting will be done before it's ready.

I hope you're all having a good weekend……..isn't it great to see the sunshine!

    Take care all,

    Pink

Hi all, just a very quick post today as have to start dinner soon (roast chicken, yum).

Smokybabe - so pleased you came back to us! Hope your OH is feeling better this evening. Thinking of you.!

Gingham Ribbon - glad to hear you had a good sleep! As someone else said, it sounds as if your LO is having a growth spurt.

Bargain Rzl - I'm glad you called the police, it was brave of you! Apart from from worrying whather your neighbour was okay, it's really horrible hearing things like that through the wall and having no choice but to listen.

DH is doing his ironing as I type - I can't do much ironing as my arm gets tired so quickly, which is very frustrating when there's a big pile!

Off now to read the de-cluttering thread! Hope you all have a peaceful evening.

    Hello everyone!

Am catching up with my emails before the Sunday night kitchen sort... OH is on the 360 and Dpup is so tired today bless him! They had a lovely long walk yesterday and so today are both shattered! I am shattered because I was working today, no rest for the wicked!

Have got chicken breasts in the oven with bacon wrapped around them, and also roasties, going to have veggies and perhaps a bit of stuffing with them too :) A nice, filling meal which should last us the evening. If there's room we'll have a suet pudding from the freezer, or yogurt :) Am going to make some cheese scones tomorrow, and perhaps some chocolate muffins, although I have a few chores to do and leader training, so it all depends how time goes.

Have not read through the thread properly today (will do in a mo), but I want to send lots of hugs to Smokybabe and family.

I'm sure that there are lots of other hugs for others too, if you want them.

Ooh, JackieO, I used to love going to Larkfield when I was little :) The flumes there were fab! We also used to go to a place in Dartford but it got closed down, it was amazing! I want to go swimming again-my physio said I should try 5 minutes a session... not very OS paying £1.50 (and that's my diasbled swim price!) for 5 minutes in the pool, is it?

Enjoy your Sunday evening! I'm off to tackle the kitchen! x

    ((((smokey)))

Glad to see you back here. Hope your DH gets better soon.

I am so pleased things are going well. Enjoy a quiet evening - unless you get a better offer;)

Two machine loads of washing have been out on the line and drying nicely.

Lunch was spicy chicken pices, huge yorkie, roast potatoes and leeks, cauli and carrots with gravy and a cheese sauce made from scratch as well.

Ice cream to follow and everyone enjoyed the meal.

Dishes are done and cooker hob is cleaned so I am on here with a pot of tea.

    RZL

You did the right thing - you would never have forgiven yourself if she had been hurt.

    Hugs to all

    I've been Money Tipped!
Welcome back Smokeybabe! Hope things improve quickly for you and oh (((hugs))) must be so worrying for you!

Pink - I am now on regular painkillers and hoping tomorrow comes round quickly for I can get this tooth sorted! Never before have I actually looked forward to treatment at the dentist! If anyone has an ol style cure for toothache I would be very grateful! Hot and cold food and drinks are now totally out of the question.

Today I am looking through the recipe books and menu planning using up what is in store in order to avoid any extra shopping. It would be a good thing to use up what we have in as we are away on our hols in 5 weeks time! This year is flying by!

    ((((Hugs))) to all
