2 day old Samsung Galaxy S3 Broken Screen Help!

Hi everyone.
I bought a brand new car last week and today I drove it into a wall at speed. Where do I stand with getting a replacement free of charge? It's a known issue with driving cars into walls.'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.

As for being naive 1 yes I did drop the phone from a small height 2 yes it was my fault
The way in which the screen reacted was nothing like the commercials they brag about showing steel ball bearings being dropped onto the screens without fracture.. thus making false claims as to its strength.
Fact! I have it on good authority that from discussing this elsewhere it has been proven that the glass in the S3's on display in phone shops (which they proudly try to scratch without lkeaving a mark) is specially toughened for their demos and not the same glass as you wouyld actually buy.. but they don't want people to know this! for obvious reasons.
sorry thats bull and would like it proving
I am not some spotty little oik with loads of money who just got fed up with his phone and decided to break it and com, plain. My complaint is about faulty manufacture and I will be taking this up with watchdog so lookout for this as Trading standards have not even returned my call because they are obviously too busy with other people moaning about something because as you infer they should accept Top prices for inferior goods.
good luck with that
It is people like you who either work for these multinational companies or allow them to get away with hoodwinking and producing inferior goods.
Enough said I wont bother this forum again or read anymore sarcastic comments. But at least it is another reply to add to your tally which seems to be the only reason you chose the response you did.
Try being sympathetic and helpfull to others. It will be more life enriching for you.

What do you mean cover for mobiles via bank account. Is this a normal add on or do you buy an insurance. I have two mobiles both on one account paid by direct debit.pandora205 wrote: »
Annoyingly, I have cover for 2 mobiles through my bank account, so had we updated the details it would have been covered.
Thanks

Some "extra" current accounts that you pay a monthly fee for give you "free" holiday insurance, mobile phone insurance, car recovery etc as part of the extras that you pay for.0 -
Yeah my Natwest Gold account which I pay £12.95 monthly gives phone insurance (you must register your phone with them) as well as other things like half decent travel insurance and roadside breakdown cover .... also loans and other services might have a slightly better rate to 'gold' customers - it's just about worthwhile, just.

...wow, epic hissyfit alert.
Go as far as you like with the claim, I've been on the receiving end for these types of complaints and can't recall when any were upheld.
I am on here to offer advice, and my advice to you OP would be to open your eyes to the real world. Get a grip, realise you broke your phone and get over it. Telling people what they want to hear isn't "life enrichening" as you put it, but helping people see that a mistake was that - a mistake, is.
There's a beautiful world out there, life is too short to spend it trying to blame others for your own mistakes.
Must go, off to crash my car into a wall do I can get a new one for free.0 -

I have a similar problem with my new Samsung s3 except I never dropped it the screen just cracked . I have a protective case , screen protector and the screen just cracked and it only 6wks old . I looked up deals on the web and it indeed seems Samsung have a problem with screens but are not admitting anything .
I do ave insurance through my bank but the claims process is very long winded and the are probably going to give me a reconditioned phone .
I am really upset , had lads of phones in my lifetime and never damaged any of them , always have case and take care of them .
It has totally put me off Samsung and I have no intention of buying a new Samsung phone .
Vodafone have also been very unhelpful , ESP there call centre who keep insisting I dropped the phone, which seems to be everyone's get out clause. The phone is getting more damaged everyday and the cheapest repair I can get so far is £100 that will ake two weeks when I am paying line rental and have no phone .0 -
Don't the people who've been arguing with the networks have insurance with these networks, or are they just refusing to pay for some reason? I always had things like this sorted by Orange Care without a problem.0
