Preparation is going well for Christmas. All presents and cards are out, we have got all our food shopping, washing is done and if I finish early enough this evening I will try and do the ironing. I have been for a run, we have tidied up from dinner, I have red cabbage cooking on the stove ready to be re-heated on Christmas day and we are about to ice the Christmas biscuits we made ages ago ready to start eating tomorrow

We are going to my sister-in-laws tomorrow night, having a quiet Christmas day here then to my step-son's for Boxing day so only need to cook one more meal before we go on holiday :j

Last night was a lot of fun at my sister-in-law's with a lot of laughs. We went to church this morning which was magical and an utter tear-jerker. We have had our Christmas dinner, goose, roast potatoes and parsnips, red cabbage, broccoli and yorkshire puddings, have tidied up and are having a rest before dessert.

We are feeling very thankful after an amazing, significant year with Mr AJM's son getting in touch among many other things. This time year I will be halfway through my promotion courses and will be looking forward to a good celebration when they are complete.

Yes

I fear we may eat our body weight in food over the next week. I will need to hit the gym and start running when we get back!
