Happy February everyone, getting closer all the time to summer :j

Made a meal plan for February the other day but have realised up am cooking every day around a really stressful week at work next week so I need to redo it, hopefully Mr AJM will contribute! I have a friend who has done a 6 week meal plan and is just rotating it, I think that would bore me from a cooking point of view.

Managed to OP £250 last month which was £100 more than I planned. Going to see if we can continue to keep a hold on the spending and do this for the next 2 months.

Just to make you feel better, I have only managed 5 sessions this week. 2 of my rowing sessions have been missed from the training schedule but instead I did a 10,000 metre challenge which has exhausted me. I was originally going to try and make up some of the missed sessions but I am not going to worry about that now. Mr AJM has been running with me for 4 weeks now, it has made it so much more enjoyable.

Rapidly losing motivation for proper meal planning. For this week and maybe the month I am just going to concentrate on using up the stuff in the freezer until I can be bothered to do an inventory of the cupboards.

Mr AJM and I had a brief chat about the mortgage while we were out walking yesterday, he is surprised how much we have paid off our mortgage :D I let him know that we are currently 18 months short of the MR date I want for the larger mortgage if I finish work when my contract ends. However with the possibility of an extra 7 years work added on it may work in our favour. All will be clearer to us in a year's time but we have had a nice chat about the future and have agreed that all our ans are still in place.

Upgraded our ISAs online this morning. Next job on the list is Sky as our deal ends on the 14th and doubles in price :(

Depends on the council, but it is here, maybe it's on the local council website?

I am still here and speed reading other threads but work has been mayhem (mostly because of my own demanding time pressures), hopefully it is calming now.

I had been doing amazingly well with my exercise until last Thursday but have been so tired that I haven't done anything since. I think my plans with training programmes was a bit adventurous (while I am getting a cold anyway) so I may need to scale back a little. I am going to force myself to do something tomorrow, even if it is just going for a walk. I do need to keep the running up for the next 3/4 weeks, after that I can go back to what I want.

We have been a bit lazy food wise over the last week, I came back from a training course last Thursday and tonight was the first time I cooked! I do have a slight meal plan for the rest of the week so should follow that ok.

OPs are going fairly well, Mr AJM is finally seeing the upside to our mortgage dropping (he likes seeing the numbers reduce) so although he is not actively involved I am hoping I can bring him around slowly. I haven't managed to shave any extra time off my planned MF date but I am happy that we are heading in the right direction :D
