I have a dream...to be a MFW

Last night was actually really good fun. I was taken by surprise when Mr AJM's son gave me a hug when we walked in, DH confessed after that he was struggling to conceal a big grin. Played as a family (as I guess that's what we are) on the WII which resulted in lots of shrieking from the kids and them staying up well past their bed time. There was no hug as we left but that is probably my fault, I am not sure on the protocol and would rather leave it to him each time to decide. Strangely I dreamy last night that Mr AJM's younger son joined us but as I have no idea what he looks like it was definitively a dream.
No idea what we are doing today, DHs decision seeing as it is the last day of his holidays.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Glad all went well last night.... Families can be complicated nowadays - my mum has been married 4 times and I have two siblings, each from different dads - I'm not sure it gets much more complicated than that......0

Around 10 years ago she married someone much younger than her. Her son was living with someone older than him. So my friend's 'DIL' was older than her hubby. Son and partner split after having a child. She went back to her hubby. Now friend's parents go on holiday with their grandson's ex-partner and hubby.
Her dad had a relationship years ago, she moved to S America and wrote to him, his dad didn't approve so destroyed letters. Her dad met her mum and married. Years later they bumped into ex. Dad went out to S America on his own for a few hols, then both mum & dad went around 4-5 times.
Will that do for now, or shall I chuck in her's sons now partner donating a kidney to his sister's ex partner's sister?A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I'm struggling to work all of that out in my little brain Gally, I think I may need to write it down in bullet points to work it all out.0

Our situation is a little less complicated. Mr AJM is nearly 16 years older than me (50) I am 34, his son is 25 and his girlfriend is 40 (we think).MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Let's see if MSE will let me post money related stuff this time.
Beware if I manage to post this then it is mainly ramblings to remind myself of my plans.
I have just opened another e-savings account courtesy of Nationwide as a holding account for my savings through the month. I used to use my OP e-savings but it was getting confusing so I now have £50 in the OP one that will be transferred at the end of the month (if I don't spend it). I have allocated myself £10 a day for the rest of the month which is in my normal current account for me to spend and the excess from my account (£74.24) I have put in my new e-savings ready to be moved at the end of the month. I liked reading on someone's thread the other day to spend what you have left after saving rather than saving what you have left after spending but I have spent so long raiding my ISA that I am doing half of each. At the beginning of each month we transfer £100 as an OP and I put £170 into my ISA. Anything extra as on OP goes towards bring our MF date closer than November 2023. Anything in my new savings account, half will definitely go into my ISA and if I don't have anything I would like to buy for myself then the rest will go in there too.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

I have a list of things to be done tomorrow however I have not felt 100% since we got back from holiday so some things may take a back seat. I also need to do everything around the world athletics. First and foremost I need to find some enthusiasm to meal plan.
