Meeting Mr AJMs son properly with his girlfriend and her children on Thursday night, quite looking forward to it.

Really busy at work at the mo and feeling quite stressed out, 10 days and it will and be over :j

    Good news grandma :rotfl:

Step grandma and they are not his children so that is a weird relationship that I can't work out! I am well aware of this...at 34 years old without my own children!!! Although I am desperate to stay as his dad's wife I know what I am legally and even though I will never say it in real life I would like to say on here that even though I don't know him yet what I do know makes me very proud to call him my step son.

Aw that's so nice. If all works out you'll be grandma, never mind step and sort of :T.

Ah, that's lovely AJ. I am sure he will also be proud to call you his step-mum. Really nice for MrAJ that they are in touch again. Hope you get your head round it OK - it's a big change for all of you so allow yourself time to get used to it.

Hope the visit on Thursday goes well [shuffles back to lurkdom]

Got a big chunk of work completed at work today so I hope my stress levels drop a little now. The end is in sight though, 9 days until calm should be restored.

On a better note, tonight's dinner is belly pork stir fry with hoisin sauce and a nice pud and ice cream for dessert.

Thursday nights are always a rush as Mr AJM teaches from home so we need to eat around the lessons. I left work too late to get shopping and cook this evening so we had to cheat and have a take away. I feel a bit gutted and cheated really as we have been having some lovely food and the take away wasn't anywhere near as good. Once the next 8 days are out of the way I need to do some bulk cooking so we have some HM ready meals in for Thursday nights.

I am going away tomorrow for the weekend on a course which I am a bit anxious about but the weekend away will do me good as we have a manic week next week at work so it will hopefully give me a nice break before it.

I have nearly 2 hours to pack for the weekend, make a plan for finishing my uncompleted work next week and also have a shower and try and make myself presentable. Tonight is the night we are going round to MR AJMs son's house so I can meet him properly and his girlfriend...

Last night didn't go too badly considering, it can only get better!

Arrived at my hotel after a nightmare journey on the M6 and have just had a lovely dinner in the Toby variety next door. I need to get and do some last minute study for tomorrow now as I haven't done any yet and I need to make sure I learn something so the £157 course fee is worth it.

Dinner tomorrow is a curry with the rest of the course. They stipulate there will be no bill splitting so everyone pays for what they have :money:

We all know someone who has an extra starter, dessert, coffee, and 4 glasses of wine :rotfl:
