  • We get those letters too. they are quite uplifting. Also keep a spread sheet to boost and provide extra focus.

    Chicken sounds yummy.

I struggle with the concept of nsd's as everyday something is being spent -breakfast club for dd3, also each have 1 school meal a week which they choose the day, petrol, etc so after much debate (with self) I ignore those bits now (is that cheating?)

  • Nope! I count an NSD as a day where there is no unplanned food spending, I'm trying to meal plan now so if I spend anything on top of my grocery shop it means I didn't plan properly!

Looking at prices for phone broadband and tv at the mo as we are paying BT far too much. If I was bothered by tv it would make it easier, I think we have decided on that side of things though, I just need to decide what company to use for the phone and broadband.

I am also about to pretend to Mr AJM that I am going to see what needs using in the fridge/freezer and cupboard and make them into a meal plan. The truth is I have already decided but want him to think I am including him in the decision making. I did mention that I liked only going shopping for the essentials during the week though and he understood that. I will try and remember to post the meal plan when I am done.

Need to find our spending for the last few days.

Not doing very well am I? I need to go shopping tomorrow but I am hoping I can get enough stuff to last us until Monday.

Read utility meters earlier, 193 units of gas and 268 of electricity, I don't think that is very good :(

I am off to a friend's for a candle party tonight, I might leave my wallet behind as I really can't afford to buy anything. However one of the girl's is a jeweller and she is going to take a look at 2 rings and let me know the metals etc so I can try and sell them on ebay.

Off to get my malt loaf recipe to post and then I need to make a shopping list for tomorrow.
