I too have been AWOL and won't realistically make any great inroads until next year but as I got an updated mortgage figure yesterday I will do an update. Sorry folks I am determined to crack this on my third attempt.

Hi all,
Am on my way to the bank to pay the extra instalment to meet my target come 12 September.
I cannot believe how quickly time has flown. We are almost one year into our challenge.

I've just posted my q3 update as there is no point in waiting (no more money coming in before the 12th Sept). I have paid the maximum 10% off my mortgage this year so the remainder of the year will be putting aside money that is earmarked to clear it (eventually).
I hope FB is OK - he doesn't appear to have posted since he updated the q2 charts - must be hard to keep motivated when your own sitiation is under control. Then of course there is RL!
Best wishes everyone
