Been depressed, stupidly busy, on holiday, overdrawn and disorganised as hell - not necessarily all in that order.

I've just done a quick post in my own diary if anyone is interested. I personally do need this challenge, as despite being mortgage free, I'm pretty broke just now and I need to build up some savings.

A little too slowly for some of us though. I think I'll be in the red zone on this update

All part of the plan though as this year I've been building up an emergency fund rather than making big ops.

Next year the fun begins :)

With a balance of £0.00 we are mortgage free today.
I had to make a payment of £127 this morning to clear it.

This is only temporary as we have just recently sold our house and are in the process of looking for a new one.

We'll enjoy the feeling while it lasts.

What a relief .... you were missed! We thought we missed your wave goodbye as you strolled into the sunset :D:D:D!

I agree, the thread definitely keeps us on track. Without it I would probably have no savings and a large mortage.

    Glad you are back .
