Has anyone heard from Financial Bliss in the real world at all? He doesn't seem to have been on here for well over a month and hasn't updated the chart, which doesn't seem in character at all.
Hoping all is well.:jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0 -

Hi All
Just updated through googledocs to amend my target. Changes in our personal circumstances have caused me to reassess our situation. Rather than give up on my MF quest I am lowering my target. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to up our game again but for now I am happy to chip away at the mortgage AND deal with these changes!

Can't believe how time has flown and I am too late for June's update :-(
Oh well, updated now anyway and I think I've done 17.8% of my 3 year target up to June's update. A total of £6535 in overpayment to mortgage and savings made in the first 6 months (I'm doing a combination of both as trying to buy a new house!)
It's looking likely I'll be up to a total of £32600 of a £60k target for the September update.
All going well, I could be lucky enough to be able to start looking for a small 1/2 bed BTL property in June with a summer purchase with the hope I'd be able to save a little more money on a monthly basis to help me buy a nice place for myself by the end of this challenge. Hopefully it would allow me to exceed my £60k target savings - but I won't get carried away yet!!0 -
Apologies for being AWOL and failing to post any updates at all thus far. Life has been rather tough the past few months and OPing has not been a priority.
Rather than confuse myself I think I'll hang fire until the update to formally declare figures. Static OPs have been trickling away in the background, but now it is time to knuckle down and start clawing back some of the ground lost over the past 9 months or so.
