This site is all about finding and using any way to save money, if you don't like it when others do it why do you come here?
Yes, the perfume one was in the email.
Maybe martin should consider closing his immoral site down.

Op, did you send back a lot of items? I only ask because there was another thread from a guy who had been banned from Amazon because he had a lot of returns.
Hope you get it sorted.0 -

You said on the other thread that [Boots] had told you
'Basically they said they are a domestic retailer'

I will state yet again boots have not given me a reason.
they told me the various reasons that it could happen and yes, that was one that they mentioned.
So by warning people on the grab it thread which, by the way, i thought was a good thing to do, my actions have been twisted to fit your nasty mind yet again.
As i have already said in the op, i have done an awful lot of shopping on boots, i have not attempted to hide that.
As posted this morning i have a mother with lewy bodie syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis and parkinsons disease.
She is housebound and we have a large family so i took over her shopping to cause her less stress.
So yes, it could well have been the reason for my ban.
I also posted yesterday that having discussed this with boots they are now ready to reconsider their decision.
I will repeat again what i said yesterday, i told them il take my money elsewhere.
As for making fun of someone with mental health issues, they seem quite able to post on here and understand what they are doing.
Even a person suffering mental health issues has the capacity to make a decision to be kind or unkind.
If not they wouldnt be posting on here would they?Your greatness is measured by your kindness; your education and intellect by your modesty; your ignorance is betrayed by your suspicions and prejudices, and your real caliber is measured by the consideration and tolerance you have for others.

Does anyone know if the OP can do a Data Protection Act request and get Boots to give him all the infomation they have about him? I understand that they don't have to give the reasons why he has been banned. But say, for example, a computer error means he is shown as having bought 500 perfumes rather than 5. He should be allowed to see the data that says he has bought 500 perfumes, shouldn't he?What if i told you i have a mother whos severly disabled and housebound with 3 children, 10 grand children and 10 great grand children and ive had to do her shopping too for the last few year, gifts for xmas. birthdays etc?
Do you think, because of your personal circumstances, that you appear to be some sort of trader?
If so, have you got evidence that you aren't?Why should i have to state my own personal circumstances?
It would be like somone asking what the best credit card is without mentioning that they have been made bankrupt.0 -
OP will be banned from store too soon with that kind of attitude!!
* queue my flaming from patwhining *

Is that the case?

You came here asking for advice. If you don't give us the whole picture we can't help so well.

Yes, my mother is disabled, yes ive done her shopping for the last few years, yes, i do actually give to some charitible causes.
Yes i do think that they have considered me a trader but, as ive said numerous times, they would only give me some of the reasons this could happen, not an actual reason.
I'm a pretty private person, dont come on here normally bemoaning ive got this that and the other problems.
I sort of consider that my own thing.
I just wanted to know what people would or could do under those circumstances, that was all.
I'm in tears as i write this so wont be coming back to post again, got more than enough stress in my life without all this.
Thanks to the people that have offered proper advice, its been very much appreciated.Your greatness is measured by your kindness; your education and intellect by your modesty; your ignorance is betrayed by your suspicions and prejudices, and your real caliber is measured by the consideration and tolerance you have for others.

What would your mother say about you making fun of someone else with a disability? For your information, severe PMT does come under the Equality Act, it is deemed a disability. Why don't you ask her - "Hello mum, I've been online making fun out of another disabled person" - let us know her response.0 -
Well, looking back at your previous posts, you have shared 'some' offers and glitches (yes, I was bored and had a look, you have to right?). However, those 'some' offers and glitches have got you banned. How many times have you taken advantage of such offers? Only you know that.
Let's hope they have not reported you to HMRC as well - because they will want to see everything, and whether they will believe who you are shopping for and the charities you are buying for, well that will depend on your shopping history. After all, no-one needs 5 of the same perfume for family members, do they?? All the other perfumes were long gone.
As for Martin being banned as well - did he tell you to go and buy 5 of them? or maybe 5 x 5 of them? Because 5 is the max order per person.
There is a saying 'The lady doth protest too much, methinks'. And on that note, I am unsubscribing.0 -
