    Hi All,
Bit late today. DD is moving out tomorrow:cry: Still got to let her go. Moving in with bf and another couple. My Dining Room is full of boxes at the mo!
    Can't move in here!:rotfl:
DS is already planning on moving into her room, told him he can paint it any colour except black!

Going to the Chinese tonight, collegue leaving today. Everyone in our place is looking for a new job, the Head is a cow:rolleyes:

Anyway, got to check my washing, typical of me, day I decide to strip the beds, it rains:rotfl:

    Have a good day all.

Hello everyone, my PC is now back together and working :T . I have a newly painted dining room, bless my MIL:A and a posh carpet, that is lightly too short for the room:mad: which is my fault for holding the tape measure against the skirting board instead of allowing a bit more to take into account a recess for a door and not Just DH fault for writing down the measurements, without allowing an extra couple of inches for human error. FIL is making a new step to cover the error.

We also have a newly tiled conservatory, and have a new fridge and freezer coming this weekend, and a new suite on order, so the current one can go in conservatory.

Apart from the dining room and kitchen all the rest of downstairs need painting, and then we'll be starting on hall, stairs and landing followed by OMG the bedrooms. This is proving a sticky point cos 7yo DS who has few toys now and a large bedroom is refusing to swap bedrooms with his sister who has loads of chunky toys and a tiny bedroom, that is filled by an enormous pine wardrobe. DS wants to keep his cheap cra**y wardrobe that is nearly falling apart, instead of having the bigger better quality one from his sisters room and wants his bedroom painted dark blue all over:eek: . It's already a too dark blue, a combination of letting DH choose the colour and not coming home till the painter had nearly finished. To try and break the colour up I had the chimney pained yellow instead, this is the only part of the room DS doesn't like, he wants it the same colour all over.

DD has been off nursery ill past 2 days, so she's missed her Easter egg raffle, and the children singing happy birthday to her. She is 4 tomorrow. Just as well we decided not to bother with a party as we'd have wasted money.

Can't do any washing as WM not back plumbed in from taking it out yesterday to tile floor and barely a thing to be eaten in our house either, so will have to go shopping later. DH is away at w/end to watch football but then he has a week off work:T , so can help me get place back straight.

Go to go, sis on way to see me and need to tidy up LR floor:eek: :D

    Goos Afternoon All

Today went pretty quick at work. Glad its the wk end now

Will put some washing on in a mo, and crack on with some baking.

Kyle the mum did apologise, but like her best friend said (my neighbour - not dlb) it doesn't make any difference. The family are known as ASBO kids, thats how much trouble they cause!

littlemisskitkat believe me - it took me all my strength to walk away. Im early stages of PMT also, but thankfully one of the dad's helped calm me down.

Ive been waiting for a phone call from my DD head teacher all day, he finally rung at 2.15pm. He's notified the boy's school (which there is no point as he's excluded anyway) and he said he'll have a word with the grown up if they fetch the younger brother from school! I told him Id informed the police, and he didnt comment. That says it all really!

natzini did you make it to the shops in your pj's? It wouldnt be the first time Ive done this (had a big over coat on) but it was only my local shop! Ive gone out before now in my slippers and never realised!

Right off to make a start

    Hello everyone :hello:

((hug)) to anyone who needs one - I haven't read the daily threadds for a week now so am not up to date but hope everyone is OK.

All fine here. DS1's last day at nursery, he starts pre-school after Easter. Where has the time gone - he is still my baby!

Mopped all the floors today and thought I need a new mop so I came on here and read through some old threads recommending microfibre mops. Went off to Lidl to get some stuff and lo and behold, they had a few mops left for £4.99 each :) They also have microfibre cloths on special offer 2 for 99p in our area, sorry if this has been mentioned before. They look like good ones too.

Salmon in soy and citrus-y sauce with noodles for tea tonight :) The door-to-door fish service that DH signed up for looks quite good, we've got a big box of fish fillets in the freezer so am hoping to get brainier in the next few weeks.

Right, off for a coffee and a catch-up. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend and happy holidays to those who are off somewhere nice.

You hold your head up high and thank heavens you are getting rid of the g*t!!!!

If he knew how many perfect strangers "cordially detest" him - it would scare the life out of him!

    Big hug.

Just been to Lidl for a huge shop and it took ages to pack all the stuff away!

They have asparagus for 49P! so tonight's menu will be chicken pieces, asparagus and jacket potatoes.

DD(18) should be in Italy by now so fingers crossed that she has a good time.

Just a quick one whilst waiting for OH to come home.

Ive done 2 loads of washing, DW now on, and Ive baked the most humongous coffee cake. stands 4" height. With brandy cream filling and coffee icing. I hope OH doesn't like it, then sadly - I'll have to eat it all :) Not made this cake for a bout 7 or 8 yrs. So Im well chuffed!

ex OH fetched DD party clothes and says his dad (through treatment) has gone from weighing 13.7 stone to 10.3 stone. Apparently he has his appetite back, so lets hope he puts the weight on again!

    OH here now

Spent the day collecting estimates for the path at the front path - three of them around £1200 but one was £3,700!:confused: Needless to say that one was filed in the bin! Also have had my chest of drawers French polished - wasorignally done about 10 years ago but had worn out!

DS16 is being very hormonal and `premenstrual` and is snapping at everyone and everybody. Just come back from a school rugby trip which was apparently great so I`m not sure why. Coming out with comments like " as it is your day off and you`ve nothing else better to do.........! Funny how my time is very expendable but theirs is precious.

Got some lovely fish reduced so we`ll be having it for dinner. Corrie is on tonight so I can have my fix!

Shame about not seeing all the photos- I really enjoyed seeing them especially Smoky`s.

Love to all - just reread this and it sounds a complete winge!
