Not only that, but you are giving the wrong information, by linking to the MSI Motherboards, as these are custom BIOS.
I have already linked to the correct BIOS in post #43
Also AMIBOOT.ROM for MS-7366 Ver: 2.2 in post #50
So now the OP has the tools to do the job.
I guess that you couldn't be bothered to read the whole thread before posting.
and you missed one.... P6NGM-FIH
It happens.
Searching MSI's website for 7366 produced these results - so blame MSI's search facility.
Please don't be so quick to look smart, when others are only trying to help. It discourages others from helping other users, in fear of being made to look silly from the likes of you.0 -

I don't know why you are making a fuss. You began by writing:Originally Posted by poppellerant :

So I had little choice but to point out the errors, lest the OP took your advice seriously.
Try to see the humour in the situation. This thread isn't about you.
I can laugh at the mistake I made. You should try it.Nothing bad happens.

Just to confirm that the only file that you need, is AMIBOOT.ROM for MS-7366 Ver: 2.2 within the link in post#50.
I have already renamed it for you, so you only need to put it on a working floppy disc.
You can safely ignore all of the other BIOS files and folders.0 -
OK New problem - I can't format ANY floppy (using the external USB drive) to give me more than 720Kb - which is not enough to put the 1Mb file on
I don't know whether this is a common issue with Win 7 ?
I tried from a CMD prompt and also from within Windows itself...0 -

Are you sure that it is a 1.44MB floppy disc and a 1.44MB drive?
Does the disc have one or two holes at the bottom? Does the drive state it's a 1.44MB drive?
Whilst you are at it, confirm the Akoya model number if there is one on the machine.0 -
mobo says 7366 and it is BIOS 2.2
case says 7321 D
I have fixed the floppy problem by deleting all the files on a used one - THEN formatting it - it shows as 1.38 Mb !!
Have you removed the file from your link https://www.yousendit.com ?
I can no longer access it,...
Are you sure that, since the BIOS is non-existant - that it will still be bootable from floppy ?0 -

I have just clicked on the link twice and both times it worked.
I'm really nervous about you.
Where are you clicking?
Akoya number still not matching. What about the rest of the spec? Which Graphics card and what size the HDD?0 -

I am clicking on the blue link itself ( AMIBOOT.ROM for MS-7366 Ver: 2.2) - unless it is being blocked by work - I get a "problem loading page" error !
I have found another link on Medions site (http://www.medion.com/gb/service/_lightbox/treiber.php?stxt=2.2) which I think should work but is an exe file - so will not be bootable ???
Thinking about it - that was the file that I tried originally and caused the problem in the first place ....0 -
