    Windows 7 64bit

Did you upgrade or buy it with Windows 7?

    Not that important now, perhaps.

Just to double check that you ran flash.bat from the 64bit folder....did you?

It's not important in the recovery process though.

I bought it with Vista and upgraded myself 2 years ago - no problems in the last 2 years - just down to me trying to be clever !!

How did you ascertain that BIOS was for your machine?
Did you enter your Serial Number in the appropriate place on the Medion support website?
Want to be sure that it is for your board.

I didn't - I just did a search on 7366 on Medions UK website and used the file that that gave me - Do they actually have different BIOS's per individual serial number ??

It is possible, it depends on how long the production run was, and whether they considered an updated BIOS was required to iron out issues on the earlier build machines...it's more common than you think, especially with high production volume models.

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple :D

Oops.... don't attempt the BIOS recovery until you have entered your MSN number here to see if that BIOS update actually corresponds with your machine.
If not, we will have to run the recovery with the latest BIOS that is presented(if not the one you have already tried).

I put my MSN number (10012430) in to Medions site and there are most drivers but no BIOS available to download !!

I take it that I am recommended to use the one suggested yesterday in the link ?

No, as we don't yet know if that BIOS belongs to your machine.
