Not necessarily. Though the OP will have to fit an internal floppy disc drive to the Motherboard to attempt the BIOS recovery.0 -

Should add for the OP that it is an AMI BIOS, in the case of confusion.
The problem being that this will only work if the BIOS is OK on the PC in question - it is a BIOS FLASH UPGRADE - In my case, the BIOS is totally blown - gone - dead - it is an ex-BIOS0 -

That's what I thought - with no BIOS at all - the USB drivers will not be available !!
Looks like it is time for a replacement Motherboard - there is a cheap Novatech AMD 6 core "bundle" at £160 - That looks quite good (4Gb upgradeable to 16Gb) - what do you think ?0 -

Tried that (left it out overnight) no effect0 -

What are you talking? :rotfl: Follow the instruction for BIOS Recovery. It will cost you £7 for the internal drive. Have you actually looked at the instructions?0 -
Right - so I copy the entire downloaded file (just over 1.4Mb) to a floppy and boot on it ??
The problem being the size of the file - a floppy can not even take 1.4Mb !!0 -
