We get £20 of £2 off £20 shopping at xmas plus this year we had the extra money off xmas trees etc. Some pay days we get maybe a £5 off £20 worth of clothing or £5 off £20 of home furnishings (towels etc)
All in all, you lot are doing better out of Tesco than its staff are!
also as both me & oh r staff we get two sets of coupons but they don't seem to work 2gether so we have to split the shops up(loads of confusion) get lots vouchers for4 offers on tesco mobiles that get !!!!!! all signal wherre we live so no flippin good  seems we never get extra mail shots going around(apart from normal clubcard statements) sure that bcause we are staff.if coupons are querried in store i usually say "i put sev threw yest and they all went threw so pleese give them a go"Lead us not into temptation...

Leadhead would you mind me asking what happens when one returns clothing without a receipt? I just wondered what mrs LH will get with the 4 pairs of jeans you got the other day, do you have to get clothing in exchange or can you choose groceries instead? Presumably you shouldn't show the receipt when coupons are used?
Many questions...no concrete answers, as ive heard of others, exchanging clothes for food, and if exchanging, no receipt is needed unless the price has dropped.
In our experience though......You can certainly exchange your goods for anything in the clothing department.
For this reason when couponing we take anything if the required items arent in stock...
I know of people(but not tried it myself) who have exchanged clothes for other things.
Re: showing a receipt, it is not a requirement to have the receipt for an exchange, although it is often asked for, but the exchange has never been refused(to us) without it.
This makes a mockery of the 28 days returns rule..I was exchanging PSP's, RandRed in August, in December...
An easier way to get a refund on heavily couponed clothes is to exchange them (with receipt) for something completely different(different size, different colour etc, doesnt work) and spend a bit more money. As you're only exchanging, there should really be no comment on the coupons used. This way the assistants should give you a new uncouponed receipt, it might say "exchange", but that doesnt matter....Take the new goods and receipt to another store/SA for full cash refund.
If you exchange without a receipt, you are generally not given one for the new goods.
There will always be exceptions to this, but i know, in general it works.....well it did 100 times in February/March.....Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

It does make me laugh though when check out supervisors etc say "10% off only" yet Tesco issue coupons that are £2.50 off a £10 spend on toiletries???
This is 25% off!!!
So if my total shop needed for that day happened to be only £10 worth of toiletries then Tesco is IMO giving out these vouchers to entince people to buy more then refusing to let us use them!
to the best of my memory(not great i admit:o )i have never had a memo about only accepting a certain%of shop in coupons but maybe that cos most of our customers are oaps who go round only buying wot the coupons say (that & their cat food) mayb if leadhead and welsh dragon moved to the middle of no where things would change :eek:Lead us not into temptation...

But on a positive note i did a carboot and got rid of loads of HB, finished day 250 quid up, cheers to all
For those who have done a Carboot. Have you found you can not get rid of the Nivea shower care? I could not give it away. But the Elvive Shampoo, Plax, Radox sold really well... and why do u ladies only buy shampoo and not conditioner???
I did a car boot a few weeks ago and had some nivea shower stuff over. Everyone said 'ooh no, I dont use oily stuff in the shower might slip" kept telling them it was foaming oil and not greasy at all but they wouldnt have it! Was planning to do one today with my 75 items but was pouring down :mad:0 -

Get another ordinary clubcard each and just make sure you have at least 150 points on it each quarter, then you join all the clubs again and you will get double the coupons:cool: I've joined in kids names as well0 -

Depending on what you class as middle aged, a lot of older ladies will scan anything as they will use as many coupons as they can themselves! Me included;)0 -
