If whats The supermarket call 'investing in your future', when they ask suppliers to pay for offers/discounts.... I hope Tesco are taking the loss themselves and not passing it on the supplier, cus I would feel a little guilty...well for a second or two!!!
think the only times they pass losses onto suppliers is when offers are on fresh foods eg fruit veg meat etc. mainstream manafacturers just happy for huge buyers support as this mean bigger marketing areas then higher turnover as they now tesco need to stock all well known brands so can't p.. them off too much even thoch tesco have huge buying power they still need to keep the main suppliers happyLead us not into temptation...

I brought a few groceries from tescos and I thought that I would be getting the delivery the next day, but I had to wait till friday (from sunday), they said that all the special offers before friday they cant except and the prices that change before friday may change.
I was surprised with this and I thought that tescos was supposed to be one of the top leading groceries store online.
What does everbody else think of this?
Thanks

I have/have discussed a theory that Tescos allow it, so the auditors can truthfully inform the authorities that they sell more toiletries than say Boots and more clothes than say Debenhams.............
Threy dont have to justify the word "sell"
this theory could be true.
just been told by OH that t is just as immoral as walmart, they r ruthless in business and don't treat their staffs very well, i heard that walmart is infamous in this but hope/think t is better with their staffs?
just open a new bottle of radox handwash and saw a 50p charity token on the back which can be peeled off and send to an address, for each token received, radox will donate 50p to british heart foundation. so have a look at my stash and only find 3. i never read label in detail when couponing, just grab a couple of each colour and go. should have grabbed a few more of this, it is the white bottle one with a red heart on the front. anyway, free money to charity, yay...0 -
bought a t peeler the other day with many other stuffs, it looks posh with black soft grib handle but won't peel anything, even a butter knife can do a better job. it only costs about £1.45, possibly free in my case. i was just about to bin it but suddenly think it could be a good trial on their return/ exchange policy. i never return/ exchange anything without a receipt. don't know if they will accept this one, it is t's own label peeler although it hasn't got t's logo on it, the packaging has already been binned but i can grab a new one in the shop and show them both and they r identical. would be nice to know how t handle case like this, no receipt no packaging already used return/exchange item.0
