Well I went down to the east midlands this weekend to a niece's 4th birthday party. Thanks to doing a couple of swaps on PTS I had 13 sets of H&B shops, so after the party i forced my sisters and my parents down to tesco and taught them about getting the goods for free, they were amazed and very pleased and we managed to use all 13 sets up, mum and dad were a bit slow picking it up but they got there, so thank you tesco and thank you everyone for all the info and ideas !!!
well done you!

Just got back from a Quickie....spotted a lad I'd "used" before
As he was scanning my first pair of trousers , i asked "was it ok to take my coupons"........"Yes" he said "but only 50%"......"hold on" I said, "I wont have enough money on me", anyway, he helped me put the stuff back in the trolley(so I could re-assess the situation).....I did,
Went 4 tills up, to the guy I missed yesterday by 5 minutes, asked him, "yeh" he said.
£60 clothing, £24 HandB £8 HC.........97pence....and 40 schools vouchers....See you later I said.

Oh leadhead, you are priceless. I was showing my DH some of your posts yesterday, and he said, "You should have married that bloke. Can you imagine the coupon stash in the kitchen, the toiletries in the wardrobe and the clothes in the cupboards?":rotfl: :rotfl:I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. anyway..Around here we put the toiletries in the cupboards and the clothes in the wardobe(s)...........lol
Thankyou Mr T..............ps...the bans don't work.....
Had a day off today...been nowhere near a Tesco's.......so no encounters today....
Addendum........ just realised I've still got 90 minutes though............Couponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

bought a t peeler the other day with many other stuffs, it looks posh with black soft grib handle but won't peel anything, even a butter knife can do a better job. it only costs about £1.45, possibly free in my case. i was just about to bin it but suddenly think it could be a good trial on their return/ exchange policy. i never return/ exchange anything without a receipt. don't know if they will accept this one, it is t's own label peeler although it hasn't got t's logo on it, the packaging has already been binned but i can grab a new one in the shop and show them both and they r identical. would be nice to know how t handle case like this, no receipt no packaging already used return/exchange item.
This comes under the "not fit for purpose" part of the refund policy.
I would be very surprised if they put up any argument over this.
There is the possibilty of course that you get a jobsworth old trout that thinks its going to harm her pension.....if you do, just ask for the CS manager, he/she should sort it.
I take the view that having attained a managership, these people have a certain degree of sense........although having said that, I've met and argued with some right plonkers.Couponing....."every little hurts"

I wasn't going to tescos today but DD2 had dance classes and I had an hour or so to spare. So I did a mini-family weekly shop, just getting the neccessary 36 pints of milk we get and some essentials. Funny thing was it felt strange not to buy any healthcare or toiletries.
But I had timed it just right as alot of vegetable, fruit and meat were reduced together with fruit salads which the kiddies polished off very quickly !
I did ask about quit kits and was told that they no longer have them but I did get a goodie bag - this time the pain relief one which was great as a freebie.
My fridge however is to bursting point so much so I am now buying the finest yoghurts and paying 4p rather than getting the 6 packs.
Mr Welshy commented that we have never had so much in the house and that is fab because less than 3 years ago we were very short of money. He used to insist on going shopping to stop me overspending and used a calculator with a strict shopping list.
Welshy xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL
