Hiya to the Tesco staff amongst us  quick question, how often do you get the staff vouchers - is it monthly - I remember at Christmas I was sent some for money off christmas trees, wrapping paper etc by someone who works for Tescos.
thanks Welshy xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

I could use a £2 off £8 and 2 x £1.25 quits buy items on bogof and get a tenner's worth for 50p - or even for nothing if I throw in a 50p wholefood voucher and I didn't even mention the healthcare or clothing.

I'm afraid I led my OH into a false sense of security, by telling DD that there were a few expiry's this week.
I forgot about the 50p wholefoods one, although they could have been my downfall today, i nearly decided not to use them on £110 coupon shoips........SA was down to last 6(all 50p wholefoods) when supervisor appeared.....I got a shock....but luckily she went the other way, but could easily have lost a £110 worth of freebies for £3 worth of extra coupons....
Of course with these, its back to free HandB and free HC as well, and with an extra 4 its free clothing as well
Life is but a game
Live news....OH goes out for 3 hours on a Sunday night(i'm the taxi)....just said to me..."Oh...dont know what to wear...got that much"
Theres no consistency is there...........Couponing....."every little hurts"

WORST EVER SHOP
After 2 sucessful shops I decided to finish off my voucher yesterday evening at 9:30pm...BIG MISTAKE.. There were no young sa's only middle aged ladies and supervisors.
The sa scanned 10 pounds worth of vouchers, refused daily mail book token and was happy (queue starting), until i thought id use a few 50 pointers (I do not usually bother). "I'll just speak to the supervisor" she said and before i could say dont bother, she had gone (queue getting bigger).
He came over and after what seemed like a year and my embarrassment getting greater as the time ticked, he looked a the till receipt. "Can't use that many" he said, "we will have to take some off", AHHHHHHHHHH... he then spent ages looking at my receipt (queue huge, embarrassment boiling point) and eventually removed 3 x 2 pounds. My usually 1 - 2 pound bill was 15 quid.
Anyway Im not sure if I broke the coupon code, but i spoke to the supervisor as i was leaving and told him I was not happy at being embrassed and wanted a refund and I would shop else where.
So I popped to customer service and explained. I was in the process of getting my money back, when the supervisor appeared again and i begain arguing that if the till accepts the coupons it should be ok and that he had caused me a great deal of embarrassment due to his actions and poorly trained staff.
Why oh why didnt i just walk away. I think i except everyting cheap.
Now is there any mileage in this?? i was thinking of complaining to Head office?? or should I just keep a low profile, as we dont want to raise training of poorly trained staff.
All views appreciated, especially Leadhead

But on a positive note i did a carboot and got rid of loads of HB, finished day 250 quid up, cheers to all
For those who have done a Carboot. Have you found you can not get rid of the Nivea shower care? I could not give it away. But the Elvive Shampoo, Plax, Radox sold really well... and why do u ladies only buy shampoo and not conditioner???_____________________________________________

still found best time to go is when its busy as front end has targets to meet with one in front etc if these fail big moans from them up higher:mad:  so to keep things moving sa wants to get rid of customers quickly so are less likely to check coupons or querry them:jLead us not into temptation...
just tell us where it is and we'll find it....0 -

We get £20 of £2 off £20 shopping at xmas plus this year we had the extra money off xmas trees etc. Some pay days we get maybe a £5 off £20 worth of clothing or £5 off £20 of home furnishings (towels etc)
All in all, you lot are doing better out of Tesco than its staff are!:rolleyes:0 -
Leadhead would you mind me asking what happens when one returns clothing without a receipt? I just wondered what mrs LH will get with the 4 pairs of jeans you got the other day, do you have to get clothing in exchange or can you choose groceries instead? Presumably you shouldn't show the receipt when coupons are used?:A boots tart and tesco chick:A0

Been there, done that and got the t-shirt. Last year, I handed over some vouchers and complained when they were refused (after HO sent me the voucher policy via email). I felt very awkward and embarassed so I complained to HO about this particular supervisor. Next time in store, not using any vouchers, she shouts across the tills whilst customers are all around me, did you complain to HO about me ? so I looked at her and got home and fired off another complaint. HO said the Manager in store would deal with it.
During my very rare visits I have been followed around and glared at and treated basically like a shoplifter. Last week I used vouchers h&b tesco specific, the said supervisor 12 months on from original incident shouts across only take vouchers for things she has bought, which the SA does. I go to get my photos, the supervisor comes across mutters this is what she handed over today then puts them in a drawer - realises I am there but would not make eye contact. I was going to walk away but decided nope I wanted to take it further. I asked to see the Manager and one week later - I have heard absolutely nothing.
The supervisor has got it in for me and all because initially I questioned their voucher policy. Aplogies for the essay

I also have done quite well today.. Decided to take OH with me but did not plan my shops so spent a good 3/4s of an hour calculating 3 £24 toiletry shops and 2 £16 healthcare lots.
Got there in the end though and OH is less moany now. He got bored so was trying on sunglasses and I said he could have them for 12p if he did one of the toiletry shops for me.My sums were right and it did come to 12p but I did make a slight fool of myself when he gave me 6 coupons back and said he couldnt scan anymore, that will be £12. I asked why and he said if I scan anymore we'll have to give you money! It was then I realised he had actually said 12p and I had given him some healthcare coupons by accident.
I'd not been to him before so was slightly worried but all ok in the end.
My £16.20 of healthcare and £24.02 of toiletries came to £1.71
I also put £16.32 of healthcare (6 zirtek) and £24.09 toiletries in my mums weekly shop which took an extra £5 off with vouchers.
All in all very pleased with today but quite sad that theres no more free toiletries. All I have left now is get active, £2 T+B and one set of blues
Roll on more vouchers!!Reclaiming for family and friends. Won 4/13 so farHSBC CC - £263.25, Halifax CC - £179.45, HFC PPI - £589.00, HSBC PPI - £498.86, Lloyds PPI 1 - £4000 -

Sounds like its best to keep a low profile... afterall we are playing the system and generally winning..
Doubt HO would compensate me for ' embarrassment ' ??? or would they LOL_____________________________________________
