Leadhead - do you use your clubcard when handing over so many vouchers? I ask because I also take it down to the minimum payment possible when my fav sa is working. The downside is that she knows that I have a clubcard, she has scanned it so many times and we have discussed the benefits of the 4 x points value.
This last week alone, I have carried out numerous H&B and MOC shops often bringing the total from £30 ish down to 0.02p!!! I have spread these over my card, dh's, dd's, dead cat's etc etc.
Don't want to lose those precious points!! ;)

Spreading them among a few cards should avoid your account flagging up on their system.

Unfortunately, with 2/3 local store bans, an area ban and a letter asking me to introduce myself to "management", to ask for permission before entering any Tescos.......the answer is NEVER................

Of course I never ask, thats why they never know I'm in.....(goes back to RandR days)

Ive dealt with some high up CS people at HO, in my RandR days.....(or they thought they were high up...eh Phil!!!),,in fact one once mentioned he was higher than Sir Terry.....so try to be anon now.

Ive reported before, throwing away around £7 k of receipts.........that was a while ago as well.

Although i never draw any attention to myself in store, the risk of a failure, or a till inspection, bringing up my details far outweighs the £400+ in deals ive lost.

Ive lent my card out to relations, and OH has her own, I use it for fuel..............

Have quite a few points on temporary cards, as i feel some SA's think the customer is more genuine if they have a club card.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Why don't you get your points added on afterwards at the customer services? They just look at the total number of points at the bottom of the till receipt not how you paid

Doing this often, raises a flag on the account at HO.....how often though, i dont know, but i know of people having had this happen to them....

Sorry leadhead but OH is not happy about being proved wrong and refuses to give an apology, so I'll just say "sorry for doubting you" for him!
Yes, he's just a typical male, but then I guess you'd know, he he he ;)

Edit: Thinking about it though with all your shopping maybe you're not the typical male?!?

My OH is very tetchy about my tescoing, I now tend to drive past the local tescos due to their attitude (still haven't heard anything) and go further affield which means my shopping can take awhile to do. We are a family of 6 and sometimes I use 2 trolleys so tend to have DD with me to assist.

Although OH can see the benefits of my tescoing, he hates the clutter of toiletries etc.

Today, I did my final 2 h&b shops whilst getting a newspaper. I bought impulse and handwash and in the 2nd transaction the facial wipes for DD as she likes them when she goes to camp with school/guides etc.

The SA scanned all my vouchers, except for a £2 one which I thought expired on 20/5 but was infact a rogue end of April one and the £1 peach toiletry would not go through but she put it through the till as a non-scannable voucher and wrote on it that I had made the relevant purchases.

Thanks for the tip re finest yoghurts I got 2 a strawberry and cream one and a toffee one for a bargain price was it 4p and 2 packs of the low fat 69p yoghurts by using the 50p ski vouchers.

As I left I enquired about the quit vouchers and was told that the pharmacy had sent them back as they were old stock and that as one of the coupons was due to expire in 2 weeks, they sent them back abit early !!!! she then asked if I wanted a goodie bag which I had - it was the diabetic one.

On the way home I went to a local car boot to see if there were any toiletry sellers out in the sunshine but could not see any.

For the OP that had trouble with vouchers being accepted, been there, and it is horrible but tomorrow is always another vouchering opportunity !

Welshy, I had a similar experience, I pre-sorted my vouchers, but somehow an old healthcare QK got in there and I quickly rummaged around for the correct one! Phew.

I was very happy today, Tesco was packed, I hate this when using vouchers, but decided it was now or never as peach ones were out today.

I did two shops, one for me, one for nan (genuine this time! LOL)

    First shop, various shopping and:

Macleans toothpaste £2.59 BOGOF (I could have sworn this was £2.45!?)
    Radox handwash £1.66 BOGOF
    Impulse body spray £1.86 BOGOF
Optrex eye wash for mum £3.24 BOGOF
    Something Xtra bars £1.49 BOGOF

    = £10.84 after BOGOF

    Used: £2.50HB, £2 off £8 toiletry, £1 peach toiletry, £2 QK healthcare, £2 active, £1 peach healthcare, 50p wholefood = 16p off other shopping!

    Second transaction:
Same as above, minus the impluse and input half price ST Ives moisturiser.

Macleans toothpaste £2.59 BOGOF (I could have sworn this was £2.45!?)
    Radox handwash £1.66 BOGOF
    St Ives body lotion: £1.99
Optrex eye wash for mum £3.24 BOGOF
    Something Xtra bars £1.49 BOGOF
    After BOGOF: £10.97

Used same vouchers as above, including a clean and clear 50p voucher, so total: 53p off rest of my shop!

I was going to use 2 x £1.25 QK, but they're all I have, so want to hold on to them and I got everything free, so not bad! Plus I used lots of points coupons, so I'm happy!

Had a funny day today...in fact some of it wasnt funny at all....but I won in the end.

After Welshy's 3 or 4 gooduns (yesterday was it), thought I'd do a mini run of 4 stores, 80 mile round trip.

First store(where i had had a problem once before)...no bother, took everything, £60 clothes, £48 HandB £16 HC.....OH did a small shop for essentials and bought a top the same as one that the SA in a previous store had forgotton to take the security tag off)(enables easy removal without couponed bill being shown)...OH Actually got a till spit(for womens things).

OH commented that she remebered the SA who served her as being coupon fiendly.

Second store had 3 refusals....but only verbal refusals, store was pretty empty so managed to speak to the 3 SA's before i got my stuff on the belt....50% they all said..I apolgised, said i would put some stuff back....eventually found a young lad who said, "no problem"..same £124 worth.

The only problem i had here was after getting my stash(coupons) out 3 times, I lost £12 worth of them in another pocket, ended up paying £14 instead of the intended £2(but see **end)

Third store, had same 50% answer, went 6 tills further up, and he said it was ok.....anyway, he must have realised that the bill was dropping fast, so he called the supervisor,uh uh) waited and waited(me trying to cajoal him into trying more....)long haired hippy student appeared, I prompted him, with, "Ive bought all the stuff and spent the required amount, and they were all Tesco coupons"....that clinched it....."just scan them" he said...... I thanked him, said to SA, better to be safe than sorry, what shifts are you on next week,(hoho)............ see you later."...

On way home decided on a double HandB shop at a non clothes store....

**Because of my mistake above(paying £15)I decided to take 2 pair of Jeans back to this NON CLOTHES STORE for a £30 refund.....no problem

Did my double HandB for free and left......

At the end of the day, ended up with around £400 worth of stuff, and £12 into pocket......

I'm going to have a rest now........................well at least until tommorrow.

Its still possible (with the £2 off £8 and 2 x £1.25 off £5 Quit), to get £4.50 off a £5(after bogof) HandB spend, and £4 off a £4(after bogof) HC spend.....so i dont know where all the "NO coupon" comments have come from........lol....even I dont object to paying 50p for £18 worth(before bogof)..........

Missed my favourite 30 year old again today though, I hope shes not avoiding me.

Writing down( i use a dictaphone) successful transactions with Store, time, SA name, description, has now enabled me to plan a run everyday of the week, and unless theyve changed shifts or have passed their induction training**, they should be coupon friendly).

**I spoke to a supervisor about coupon use today(after i'd passed through the tills(obviously))...he said that he and others put all coupons through, until they are through their training, then they are instructructed in the 50% rule......this must just be that stores policy, as ive had coupon friendly trained mature SA's....

So, all in all a good coupon day................
    Couponing....."every little hurts"
