Have tried to comp for an hour and a half and done some but keep getting bored. Mind isn't on the game tonight so think it'#s best to leave it

Still haven't decided where to take best friend tomorrow! Need to get brain working properly else it will fully turn to mush and it's already half way there as it is :rotfl:

sylvia my FIL gave me a box of proper turkish delight last night that he bought back off his hols. He keeps giving me a box every now and again. I don't have the heart to tell him I'm not a massive lover of Turkish delight

Talking of chocolates, Poundland sent me a message on my wall in Facebook yesterday about selling 3 x 100g bags of Cadbury Heroes for £1. Nipped in to the shop before going in to work this morning (its at the bottom of the street where I work) of course couldn't see them so asked one of the assistants and she showed me where they were.
I have ate 2 bags already. If you have a Poundland near you worth paying a visit.
I will be the size of a house if I keep eating so much, today it was chocolates and buns. Every time I looked someone was coming with buns. Isn't it funny as soon as you make up your mind to lose weight all the temptations appear!
Sheils your DS will be arriving in the city my son is in Kuala Lumpar. I know what you are going through, it's lovely that they are getting on in life but you do miss them. I would have loved to have worked abroad when I was younger but didn't, I did manage to work in England and Scotland for awhile. Will be thinking of you and your family on Thursday.
In N Ireland Doctors, Schools, Social Services etc have to be more alert now after there was a terrible incident happened a few years ago which various agencies knew a bit about but nobody took any action. I work for a Charity and they also have to watch out for signs of abuse. It's not nice when you are innocent and someone asks awkward questions but if it saves a life then some good has come of it.
I don't seem to be doing as many comps need to start catching up. Would be lovely to win plenty of prizes in time for chrimbo.

It's wrong to be giggling to myself but best mate has obviously had a bit too much wine with his evening meal and is currently sending very soppy texts about friendship. Bless him :rotfl:

Has everyone slept in this morning?
I was up early doing the dailies - DS1 is using so many gigs on the internet I am going over my limit so trying to do my stuff early. My internet is free from midnight to 8am but only get 60g for £18 month rest of the time. Keep trying to get a better deal but because we are on an old exchange everything costs nearly double. At least it is quite fast so could be worse I suppose.

Morning - was up again early - can confirm it is still dark at 6.15 now. Wondering if today is the day that my comping luck changes this month - I'm still waiting of a backpack off one of the magazine dailies that I won back in July - PR company are not responding to my emails but the magazine are on my case - I really wanted this one too as I'm using my daughter's old school one.
