Ours is terrible for getting an appointment. I didn't even know they had a new system where you had to sign yourself in on a screen!
Anyway...ive calmed down a bit now but I was really annoyed as to what he was insinuating. He was asking who was living at home and because DD couldn't look at him or talk to him he assumed something was happening at home! (Well thats what it sounded like he was implying anyway).

Anyone got any chocolate! :wall: :D

Just cracked open a big bar of Dairy Milk wingo, if I could send you some I would. Cooper keeps trying to snaffle the wrapper but there's only one line gone yet, cheeky so and so.

I've got a "Yorkie" I won wingo - wish I could give you it!
Similar thing happened to me many years ago when I took DS2 to hospital with strange bruises because my name was different to DS2s the Dr asked if he saw his father at all. He soon shut up when I said he was dead.

  • I know they are just doing their job and have to be cautious but i think many of them are far too over the top with the way they do it. Difficult though as if they didnt spot something we'd all soon moan :rotfl: can't win :D

You are right though wingo sounds as though he was insinuating something... Although as yu say if he hd read her notes he might have handled it differently.

I've only ever had one other try and accuse me before when my DS was poorly as a baby, the dr in the hospital shouted to me...what is this bruising on his arm?....I said thats where you done his blood tests last week! :D He didn't even appologise but the nurse did for his behaviour.

Sheils, that must have been awful for you listening to that Dr.

Found some choccie, gonna have a nice coffee with it ;)

Glad you found some chocolate wingo - enjoy!

You must do as much walking as I do Katie.

DS1 is getting his cases organised now. He has his first proper interview arranged for just after he gets there so is really excited. I am not really expecting him to come back to live in the UK. He even paid off the last of his Student Loan the other day. They had been taking a fortune off him while he was in Bermuda so there wasn't much left. It is nice when your kids do well for themselves but hard to see them move so far away.

That's brilliant for your son Sheils :) you must be so proud of him, and the others too, they seem to be doing really well for themselves. You must be a credit to your kids :A
