Yey my case of Shloer has arrived. I said to DH wonder when I'll get my shloer and literally 2 mins later (not a few, but really was 2 mins) there was a knock at the door and it was a delivery of my Shloer that I won from that daily Shloer comp on FB.Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday
Best Wins: Ipad, Nintendo 3DS, £400 Shopping Spree at LK Bennett, £100 Boots vouchers
Total Wins (Since April 2012) £3442.56
Big thanks to all who post comps :T:beer:0 -
This is my doggie pic for the day (its not Lottie but just like her)
Hope you all have a good day.
Sheils I love the dog pic, hope you have a nice family lunch together.
B.Sue, that was cheap to have two rooms cleaned, could do with doing ours soon. I got one of those carpet cleaners but was not impressed with all my hard work.
Becks, hope things sort out for you and that the DH finds a job soon, even if its something just till Christmas as they often keep folks on after if they are good workers.
Hi. Hamsterfan. Well done on losing weight, its really hard, I keep losing some but have to keep to a very rigid diet as I put on weight just looking at food. I have to take thyroid tablets and think that perhaps that doesn't help, who knows. anyway will try and get some off again b4 Christmas.
Love the pics FireFly, do we have a bit of a doggie theme going today? What's it to be tomorrow??
Catch you all later, happy comping and hope you all get some wins today, our postman has just passed us by, AGAIN.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -

We must have been separated at birth! We agree that spider catcher handles are way too short and I also can't sleep without a sleep mask (also get the sore ear when it slips down LOL). It started when DH was a Milkman and had to get up at 2.00. It kept the light out of my eyes when he was getting ready and stopped me from opening my eyes and properly waking up if I heard him, now I can't sleep without one.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Thanks everyone for your thoughts about me and hubby. Sadly don't think he will get a job even temp as he has had numerous eye operations, is now registered blind in one eye (and sight isnt great i the other either) and he also has numerous hospital appointmenyts and more operations lined up so he is limited to what he can do. Hopefully things will sort themselves out.
One small bonus is that we are due a council tax refund of about £400 whuch should go into my bank this eeek. Then also eill get the rent rebate as soon as it shows on their system£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -
Hi all
Just a real quickie to say that I've had confirmation from The Times that the current comp to win a £500 Net-A-Porter spend is single entry only - but that entrants go into the daily draw i.e. you only have to enter once to be in with a chance of winning every day.
Like a daily without the hard work!
I've updated the main comp post too.
Have a good day everyone.0 -

Whatever happened to traditional doctors and getting an appointment!
School phoned to say DD was poorly again and can I pick her up. She had epilepsy in the past and got over it but now she's started having symptoms of it again. I called doctors for an appointment and was told next available was next week! I explained to receptionist of her history and symptoms and they said would the nurse help if I phoned first thing in the morning! Unless the nurse can refer her to hospital again if needed then I don't think so!! I'm now waiting for a return call to see if anyone 'cancels'. DD is now asleep in bed.
Becks, hope things work out ok for you. Sometimes I think it pays not to be married!
Enjoy your schloer zombie

Fire**fly, thanks for the link to Laks comp!im sure the kids will enjoy scaring me with that! It's strange really....I've held a 'tame' tarantula before and didn't feel scared but I hate creepy crawlers near me!

Wingo, I find the quickest way to get an appointment if you really need one is to ask for an appointment, if they say they have none for today ask for a home visit. Believe me that always works for me, its amazing how fast they magic an appointment.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0
