Well, I went out to DH's first gig with his new band last night. It was great fun. His dad took me because I didn't want to use up all my energy waiting around whilst the band had their soundcheck etc. FIL brought a chair with him so that I could sit up against the wall (the venue isn't very wheelchair friendly and I can't stand for too long or walk very far). It was good to get out for something other than appointments!
Then my friend had a go at me saying I shouldn't be going to gigs when pregnant. I said that some people would say that I also shouldn't go to gigs when disabled either but I'm fed up of never being able to do anything fun.

Anyway, I saw my midwife today as I needed her to sign a form for me and I asked her if it's okay to go to gigs when pregnant. She said that it's fine as long as you don't get kicked in the bump or end up in the mosh pit and that I'm only pregnant! Obviously, I don't make a habit of going to gigs due to the M.E as I find it hard to tolerate the noise and the atmosphere and because it uses alot of energy etc but it was the band's first gig and I wanted to be there.
I'm not going to the next one though as I'll be even more heavily pregnant but I didn't want to miss the first gig.

In other news, midwife listened to Dexter's heartbeat and he kicked her.:rotfl:

Bought it from Amazon a few years back as I quite like spiders, but DH hates them.

Somebody lend me a rifle! Had an email to say that I hadn't won one of the 800 chalices that Stella were giving away, at the same time DH got one to say he had won one. Now I'm getting chants of "Loseeeeeer, Loseeeeer!"

I've had tow non-winning wems today - this month has been really bad comping wise. My blood test this morning was awful - nurse stuck a tube in may arm & proceeded to bleed it dry, well that's what it felt like, there were three or four bottled full at the end of it .

Daughter;s scn went well though baby is healthy & she is having a ....... baby. She decided that his time she was not going to find out for her OHs sake & she resisted temptation to find out. I will be her birthing partner again so will find out what she is having at the same time as she does.

I used to have one of them SM until we moved house and found that the spiders in this house are way too big. :eek:

Evening all. Sorry probably not going to be about much tonight. Really not in the mood tonight. Hubby is havig his money cut because we are married now and he is in a right depressive mood and so therefore so am i as i feel he resents us hetting married as he is being punished for it.

I'm sure he doesn't resent you getting married Becks. It is such a shame that so many peeps seem to short of money these days. Hope you get a nice win soon or DH manages to get a job.

I finally got them out and on closer inspection it looks like one spider dying and another shed it's skin! What does that mean? _pale_

I was thinking of stopping doing fb comps as I thought I wasn't getting anywhere and searched my name to find I'd won a book on 12th sept (thanks princessmoneysaver :T i think it must be from your tag ) and also won a Friday freebie from discovery foods, some stir fry mix :j not sure if I'll receive book though!

That's something to look forward to hamsterfan, your DD having baby surprises are the best! I thought my first was a boy but it was the unbillical cord!

LadyM, sounds like you had a great night at DHs gig do you think Dexters gonna be a footballer?
