Jasper was naughty when he went for his walk. I let him off for his usual run on the field but he spotted a female dog, ignored me and run after it. The door was open of the house so jasper run inside still chasing the dog playfully! He then knew he was in trouble and going back on his lead so he run past me and in the beck too which he knows he's not allowed!

Hope you all get some good wins today. I had a phone call from a withheld number on my mobile, just postcode lottery trying to sign me up for £2.50 a week, gave her the poor pensioner sob story (it usually works) her reply was "you wont have to pay anything for a month!"

Any of you looking for a job live near Chester-le-Street, I was there today and saw jobs advertised in 3 shop windows. The sad thing is that a lot of the shops there are closing down. Any way good luck to all you job hunters.

On the spider-catching issue we have one of these:



It's like a mini hoover that sucks the spider up then you put a cap on the end of the tube (a bit like a camera lens cap) and you can then take it outside to dispose of it. It has batteries in it so it's really portable.

Bought it from Amazon a few years back as I quite like spiders, but DH hates them.

If you've never seen the comedian Phill Jupitus do his routine about spiders you really should - it's very funny.

That looks a good spider catcher SueM, my DH uses a mug with a bit of paper, yours sounds ideal, might have to get one one of those.
