  • :)Am on the PlayBook and both oh and myself love it. Mostly used for storing music and photos, watching catchup tv and surfing Internet. Couple of things to be aware of from other forums and threads are that the battery must never be allowed to drain fully and you must be careful when inserting the usb charger. When not in use we either put it on standby or turn it off. Full charge seems to last for upto 2 or 3 days and it's used alot.
Still haven't. Worked out how to pair it with our Sony Ericsson phones or share music via bluetooth yet so if anyone knows how please share. Wish we could afford a second one so we have one each but heyho

Sorry if this has been asked before but basically this playbook can be like a mini laptop. I was looking for a christmas pressie for my son so he can stop nicking the laptop. and this is a more reasonable price than a laptop.

Can you do homework on it like mymaths.com etc. Many thanks.

Re the op who asked about Netflix/lovefilm, is it not possible then to view these on the play book? I have these on my ipad2 but I would like to get the play book for the family to watch things on it so I can have my iPad back. Is it as easy to use as an iPad?

If you go to currys or pc world asap the sites are down and they are offering a discount code so could get it for a lower price.

7% off via Quidco at the moment from PC World so a 64GB comes in around £120.

Did a reserve and collect and managed to talk the guys into giving me 3 years insurance cover for £16.00!

There are apps that can be sideloaded onto the playbook, basically android apps converted to run the PB but not yet in the app store.

The site below is good for some sideload apps including skype, lovefilm, flixter, sky+

Also with the new 2.1 firmware any converted android apps now open in their own window, whereas before they didn't
