How many of those apps have you tested? I've tried side loading a few but mostly they don't work or don't work fully

OS 2.1 has just been released which changes the way that android apps load, along with other stuff.

The number of apps is poor and the prices are ridiculous!! I seriously would not recommend, I have the iPad and although that has its issues the PB really is something to avoid!!

With a little research before buying you would have realised that the Playbook doesn't have anywhere near as many apps as Android or Apple. What is does have is 64gb storage space, great screen, good sound, good build, good browsing, HDMI out (and more) which makes it a great media player and browser. You should buy the product that meets your needs. There a plenty of people out there in the world who are not App mad.

I got one of these playbooks, I also have an Ipad 3, the playbook rocks, am not into the ipad at all..

I think the vidoes on the playbook are mind blowing, I'm well pleased with it..
I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...
