Buying playbook for ds. It will be for playing games online, moshi monsters etc. He will most like download some apps to play around on too. It wont be used for storing photos etc. Is there any point paying the extra for the 64gb ? Thanks

Seriously tempted to punt in at this money, I'm not an apple fannbois so I'm happy to look past the fact it's not a fruit based product.

Just waiting for another ten or twenty voucher to rear its head before I jump in.

Sideloading android apps seems essential, I REALLY need an angry birds app for my boy, and its needs to be free.

For the sake of 20 quid, of course it is ... he can download and watch movies, they take up space.

may seem like silly question but how do I download films to watch?

BOBS, copying them over from your computer via USB is the fastest and cheapest way if they're in the right format. There's discussion earlier in this thread about it.

The Galaxy does look a great buy. If you want to output your video to a TV via HDMI (which I do) then the Galaxy won't do it. Or so I believe anyway. If it did then I would have been tempted as I like the fact the Samsung takes microSD cards.

    Link is broken now. :(
The playbook has been mine for over 3 months now and while there are no apps for it, its a great media centre.

I saw someone in a coffe shop yesterday with a portable dvd player and was thinking what a joke that was! The playbook is lighter, better battery life, and 60gb of storage! Whoop whoop! I have all my dvds on it atm! Some 40gb! Plus music. Its awesome! :D:D
Living off £450 per month is easy...! If you aren't single! :j
