awwww shes beautiful looks like a right lady:D btw if you choose to keep the lil lady keep this pic of your sofa looking so good because it wont be after a while lol
Haha, I know, luckily it was a free sofa we got from a friend! I've never been one to be sentimental over furniture having been brought up with big Newfoundland dogs and buckets of slobber!0 -
I think the cat has made her mind up lol
Regarding the wobbly walking, I'm sure I saw a programme about that a while back where someone owned a cat with a similar problem. I think it was a specific condition that could not be treated but the cat had an otherwise 'normal' happy life
Otherwise, could it be an ear infection putting her off-balance?0 -
What a beautiful looking kitty!
Have you had any news?
Not what you might want to hear (and others have said it),but I think that she might have found her new home.I'm sure she'll settle down as she adapts to her new surroundings.
How kind you are to take care of her.Hope it works out for you all.0 -
well, still no news from her owner sadly, and the poor thing still has the trots
and a wonderful knack for pooping up the sides of the litter box and sometimes going over lol... but she's such a sweetie you can't get mad at her lol (can you see how well trained she's got me!!)
A wonderful lady who is a pet sitting/dog walker has got in touch through a local forum about the cat, and has offered to pay for her to go the vets tomorrow for a more thorough check, blood tests and spaying if needed. We were obviously going to do it anyway but for a total stranger to come forward and offer help - i nearly cried! It's the worst timing in the world as obviously we have no money put aside for her yet and it's the dreaded week before payday. The second I get back I shall repay the favour and donate some money to the local cat rescue of her choice... and will be a loyal cat sitting customer no doubt too if we can't find the cats owner!
Little miss cat is getting very cosy, she's stopped hiding away when no-one around and has stolen the sofa. We've been leaving the radio on for her which has helped her from being lonely while we work.
Fingers crossed for the vets tomorrow!0 -

I don't really have any advice for her stomach troubles.Hopefully it'll settle down as she gets used to her new food.
What a heartwarming and kind offer from this lady.:)I hope it goes well at the vet's.
I also leave the radio on for my wee minx for when I'm out.Often I'll throw a toy for her or give her some meat just before I go out,so that she's occupied with something when I shut the door.0 -
That's great news on the puss front! As for the pooping, maybe she needs worming as I know some of the Ferals at ASSISI do this when they need wormed. Is the any blood in the poo?..0

can you feed her just plain, boiled chicken for a day or two ? It should help with her poop issue.0
