Not updating for me either ...but this has happened a number of times before, and each time it sorts itself out within a day or so.

Hopefully the same will happen again.

That's useful to know. I had looked on Windows Update and found that a whole load of updates had installed on my pc today. I thought the problem might be down to one of them, so I uninstalled all of them and rebooted. However, it made no difference to Money - it's still not updating. Yes, this has happened before, but I am paranoid about it being the final nail in the MS Money coffin.

Sorry everyone but it is the same with me.
Monday 01/07 OK but no update from then.
    I await developments with trepidation!

I'm getting a bad feeling about this. Prices on MSN are updating - it's just that Money 2005 is not picking them up. Have they finally killed off this feature? Later on, I'm going to try uninstalling and re-installing

    That is interesting oldfella.
I see now my funds were updated 02/07 but stocks and shares 01/07.
Still apprehensive about the outlook. I don't think I can face having to update manually!

For what it's worth, I tried uninstalling Money 2005 and reinstalling it. Still no price updates....

Same problem here - fund prices have updated to show 2-july 08:00 values. But shares and index prices were last updated 1-jul 16:34.
As someone else mentioned the updates have stopped occasionally in the past, but I thought that was all updates rather than just shares/indexes.
Will be a real shame if/when they do stop the updates.

I think they have changed all the uk stock symbols so you will have to re-enter all your stock symbols.

    How to verify stock symbols

If a stock symbol changes, the old symbol may continue to work for a short time. When the old symbol is no longer valid, Money cannot update the symbol.

Additionally, the symbols that are recognized by the MSN Money quotes servers and data providers may differ from the symbols that you are using. You can use the Find Symbol feature in Money or in MSN Money to determine whether there is a recognized symbol that you can use.

To use the Find Symbol feature in MSN Money, follow these steps:
    1. Visit the following Microsoft Web site: money dot msn dot com
    2. Click Investing, and then click Stocks.
    3. Click Find Symbol or Find.
    4. Look up part of the investment name.
To change the symbol of an investment, follow these steps:
    1. Go to the Portfolio Manager.
    2. Right-click the investment, and then locate Investment Details.
    3. Change the symbol.
